What is Organic traffic?
Organic traffic is the visits that reach your website from the unpaid results of a search engine. Someone searched, saw your page among the normal listings and clicked, and you paid nothing for that click. It is reported separately from paid search, social, referral and direct visits in tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Organic traffic is the main number an SEO campaign should move, but on its own it says little: a thousand visits from people who wanted something you do not sell are worth less than forty from people looking for exactly your service in your area.
