What is Google Search Console?
Google Search Console is Google's free tool for website owners. It shows which search queries your pages appeared for, how many impressions and clicks each one got, and your average position. It also reports which pages Google has indexed and why others were left out, flags mobile and Core Web Vitals problems, lets you submit a sitemap and lets you ask Google to recrawl a single page. It is the closest thing to seeing your site the way Google sees it, and unlike third-party SEO tools, its data comes from Google itself.
What does Google Search Console mean for a business in Pakistan?
In audits of Islamabad business websites, Search Console is very often not connected at all, or connected to a developer's personal Gmail that the owner cannot reach. The first housekeeping step is moving ownership to an account the business controls, so the data survives a change of developer or agency.
A worked example
A Rawalpindi physiotherapy clinic connects Search Console and opens the Performance report. It finds 2,400 impressions a month for back pain treatment Rawalpindi at average position 14, with only 9 clicks. That one row says where the work should go: improve that page enough to reach the top five, where the clicks are.
