What is Marketplace sale campaign?
A marketplace sale campaign is a large, platform-wide promotional event such as Daraz's 11.11 and 12.12 sales, along with smaller ones around Ramadan, Eid and the start of school terms. Sellers usually register specific products in advance, commit to a discount and sometimes stock levels, and in return get placement in the campaign pages and the extra traffic the marketplace drives with its own advertising. Campaigns can bring a large share of a seller's yearly orders in a few days, but they also squeeze margin and test packing and dispatch capacity. Joining well means choosing products where the discounted price still leaves profit after fees and shipping.
