What is Keyword?

A keyword is the actual phrase a person types into a search box — one word or eight, it does not matter, the word keyword just means the query. It matters because it is the only thing a search engine has to match you against. Choosing keywords means deciding which phrases your page is going to be the best answer for, then using those exact words in the title, the headings and the body — not stuffed twenty times, but present in the way a normal person would write them. A page can rank for hundreds of related phrases, but it needs one it is clearly built around.

What does Keyword mean for a business in Pakistan?

Pakistani searchers mix English and Roman Urdu, and they type the way they speak: sasta shows up in shopping searches, rate appears far more often than price, and city names get dropped in constantly. People also search brands as categories — Daraz seller account kaise banaye rather than e-commerce onboarding. Write for those words, not the ones a marketing deck would use.

A worked example

A Rawalpindi tailor builds one page around the phrase designer suit stitching Rawalpindi. That exact phrase appears four times across a 600-word page — in the H1, once inside the first 50 words, once in a subheading and once in the closing line — plus natural variations like suit silai and Saddar tailor. Four in 600 words is roughly 0.7% density, which reads normally out loud. Twenty would not.

These come up in the same conversations and are worth reading together.
