YouTube Earnings Calculator for Pakistani Channels
This works out what a Pakistani YouTube channel actually earns in a month from AdSense, using PKR RPM figures for local niches instead of American ones. Useful if you are near monetisation and want a realistic number before you plan around it. Sponsor money is added on top, separately.
Work it out
How this is calculated
adRevenuePkr = (monthlyViews ÷ 1,000) × rpmPkr. sponsorRevenuePkr = sponsoredPostsPerMonth × sponsorFeePkr. totalMonthlyPkr = adRevenuePkr + sponsorRevenuePkr. annualPkr = totalMonthlyPkr × 12. usdAdRevenue = adRevenuePkr ÷ usdRate. monthsToPayout = ceiling(100 ÷ usdAdRevenue); if usdAdRevenue is 0, show "no payout at this rate"; if usdAdRevenue is 100 or more, show 1. Round every PKR output to the nearest 100 and usdAdRevenue to the nearest whole dollar.
Things to keep in mind
- RPM is the single biggest variable and it moves every month. Advertisers spend hard in Ramadan and the two weeks before Eid, then go quiet in Muharram — a channel can see its RPM double and halve inside one quarter.
- The niche RPMs here are ranges we see across Pakistani channels we work on and channels that publish their own screenshots. They are not a Google publication, so treat them as a starting estimate and replace them with your own Studio number the moment you have one.
- Shorts and long-form are paid from different pools. If most of your views are Shorts, pick the Shorts option — putting 500,000 Shorts views against a long-form RPM will give you a fantasy number.
- The output is before Pakistani income tax and before your bank's conversion spread on the incoming wire.
About this calculator
Why is my RPM so much lower than the American YouTubers I watch?
Because advertisers pay for the audience, not the creator. A brand pays far more to reach a viewer in Ohio than one in Rawalpindi, so the same video with the same watch time earns a fraction of the US figure. The way around it is a topic that pulls overseas Pakistanis — freelancing, immigration, tech — which is why those RPMs in the list are five to eight times the vlog rate.
Do Shorts views count the same as long-form views?
No, and it is not close. Shorts are paid from a shared revenue pool that works out around PKR 10–20 per 1,000 views for a Pakistani audience, against PKR 80–130 for ordinary long-form. Shorts are worth making for reach and subscribers, not for AdSense income.
When does AdSense actually pay a Pakistani channel?
Once your balance crosses USD 100, Google issues payment between the 21st and 26th of the following month, by wire to a Pakistani bank account in your own name. Below USD 100 the balance simply rolls over to the next month, which is why the calculator shows you how many months that takes.
Is sponsorship money really bigger than AdSense?
For most Pakistani channels, yes. A channel doing 100,000 views a month on vlogs might earn PKR 9,000 from ads and PKR 25,000 from one brand integration in the same month. If you are choosing what to fix first, fix the thing that makes brands want you — consistency and a clear topic.
