Google Business Profile Visibility Calculator
Score how complete your Google Business Profile is and see what finishing it is likely to be worth in extra calls and direction requests. Being in the map pack for your part of Islamabad or Rawalpindi usually beats every social post you will publish this month, and most profiles are half empty.
Work it out
How this is calculated
Score five components out of their own maximums. Photos, out of 20: photosPosted ÷ 30 × 20, capped at 20. Reviews, out of 30: (reviewCount ÷ 25 × 20, capped at 20) plus (rating points: 10 if averageRating is 4.5 or above, 8 if 4.2 to under 4.5, 5 if 3.5 to under 4.2, 0 below 3.5). Review replies, out of 15: reviewsRepliedPercent ÷ 100 × 15. Posts, out of 15: postsPerMonth ÷ 4 × 15, capped at 15. Profile details, out of 20: profileCompleteness ÷ 100 × 20. visibilityScore = the five added, rounded to the nearest whole number. scoreBand: under 40 = "Barely listed — competitors with worse businesses are outranking you"; 40 to 59 = "Half finished — the common state, and the easiest thing on this page to fix"; 60 to 79 = "Solid — you are competitive in your area"; 80 and above = "Strong — protect it by keeping reviews and posts coming". biggestGap = the component with the lowest percentage of its own maximum, named in plain words. projectedEnquiries = monthlyEnquiriesNow × (100 ÷ maximum of visibilityScore and 25), rounded to the nearest whole enquiry and capped at four times monthlyEnquiriesNow. extraEnquiries = projectedEnquiries − monthlyEnquiriesNow. reviewsToTarget = maximum of 0 and (25 − reviewCount).
Things to keep in mind
- The projection is proportional arithmetic, not a promise. It says what the same business might see if the profile were as complete as it can be — competition in your category and your distance from the searcher matter just as much and are not in the model.
- Twenty-five reviews as a target is our own working benchmark from local categories in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, not a Google figure. In a crowded category like dental clinics in F-10 the real bar is higher.
- Never buy reviews. Google removes them in batches, the profile can be suspended, and rebuilding trust afterwards takes longer than earning the reviews honestly would have.
- Distance still beats everything. A perfect profile in Bahria Town will not rank for someone searching in G-9, which is why service-area businesses should fill in their areas served properly rather than hoping.
About this calculator
Does posting on Google Business Profile actually do anything?
Yes, and unusually little competition does it in Pakistan. Weekly posts keep the profile looking active, occupy more of the result when someone taps your listing, and give you a place to put an offer that Google shows for free. One post a week takes about ten minutes.
How do I get more Google reviews without annoying customers?
Ask at the moment they are happiest, with a short link sent on WhatsApp while they are still with you. A printed QR code at the counter works too. Never offer a discount for a review — Google treats it as review gating and it puts the whole profile at risk.
Why does my competitor rank above me with worse reviews?
Usually distance from the searcher, then category and completeness. Google's local results weight proximity heavily, so a nearer shop with a thinner profile can still win. What you control is the completeness, the photos and the review count — which is what this score measures.
Do I need a physical shop to have a profile?
No. Service-area businesses — plumbers, photographers, tutors, mobile salons — can list without showing an address, and instead define the areas they cover. Set your service area to the sectors and towns you will genuinely travel to, because listing all of Islamabad when you only work in Rawalpindi wastes the enquiries.
