Which platform is best for a clinic in Islamabad?
Google first, then Instagram. Most patients in Islamabad find a clinic by searching "dentist near me" or "skin specialist F-11", so your Google Business Profile and reviews decide the booking. Instagram is where they check you are real before they call. Facebook matters if your patients are over 45.
Islamabad mein clinic ke liye kaun sa platform behtar hai?
The longer answer
Islamabad patients search by sector, and that habit decides where your money should go. "Dermatologist in F-11", "child specialist G-11 Markaz", "dentist near Blue Area" — those are map results, not feed posts, and appearing in the top three of that map pack is worth more to a clinic than ten thousand followers. That means the Google Business Profile comes first: correct category, real photos of the actual reception and equipment, hours that are right during Ramadan, and a steady flow of reviews. One recent, detailed review mentioning the doctor by name does more than fifty old star-only ratings.
Instagram's job for a clinic is proof rather than reach. A prospective patient who found you on Maps opens the profile to see whether the place looks clean, whether the doctor has a face, and whether anything has been posted this month. Give them a tidy grid, the doctor answering one real question a week on camera — the ones actually asked at the reception desk, like whether laser is permanent or how long braces really take — and clear information about location and parking. Post in the mix of Urdu and English your patients speak.
Three mistakes are almost universal among clinic pages here. Stock photographs of smiling foreign models, which every patient recognises instantly as not you. A page with no phone number and no address in the bio, so a ready patient has to hunt. And patient photographs or WhatsApp messages posted without written consent — take consent in writing every single time, keep faces out unless it is explicitly agreed, and never post anything identifiable from a message someone sent you privately.
What we would skip: TikTok for most clinics, where the audience skews young and price-led, with the clear exception of aesthetics, skin and dental cosmetics, which do extremely well there. YouTube is worth it only if the doctor will genuinely sit down and record two videos a month — long-form medical explainers rank for years, but a channel with three videos from last spring is worse than no channel. Our Business bundle exists for exactly this shape of client, because a clinic needs to be findable before it needs to be followed.
If you would rather we did it
This question usually leads to the Business bundle package. A local shop, clinic or service that needs to be findable, not just posted.
