Do I need to be on every platform?

No. Pick one platform you can post to properly every week, then add a second only when the first runs without you thinking about it. Most twin-city businesses that spread across five platforms end up with five dead pages. One live account beats four abandoned ones for both customers and search.

Kya har platform par hona zaroori hai?

The longer answer

The reason people believe they need all of them is half true. One vertical video really does upload to Reels, TikTok and Shorts, and that part is nearly free. What is not free is everything around it: each platform has its own caption conventions, its own comment section, its own DM inbox and its own best hour to post. Publishing is roughly a fifth of the work. Answering is the rest, and an unanswered comment on a dead page is worse for you than never having opened the account.

Some platforms genuinely share the load and some do not. Reels, TikTok and Shorts are one edit and three uploads with three different captions. Facebook and Instagram are managed from one Meta Business Suite, so running both costs barely more than running one. Nothing else pairs cleanly. YouTube long-form needs a different shoot and a different pace. LinkedIn needs writing, not video. A WhatsApp Channel has its own rhythm and dies if you treat it as a dumping ground for your Instagram posts.

Here is the test we apply before opening any account for a client. Finish this sentence: "This platform is where [who] does [what], and I will know it is working when [number] moves." For a clinic that might be: Instagram is where patients check we are real before booking, and I will know it is working when profile-to-WhatsApp taps rise. If you cannot finish the sentence, do not open the account — register the handle so nobody else takes it, and leave it alone.

Our packages are shaped around this rather than around upselling. Starter covers one platform on purpose. Growth covers one platform done thoroughly, long-form and short together, with replies included. Pro is where two or three platforms run side by side with a shared calendar, and it costs more because it takes more people, not because it is a bigger tier. If somebody offers you five platforms for PKR 20,000, ask what happens to the DMs.
