What is Pinned comment?
A pinned comment is a comment the account owner has fixed to the top of the comment section so that everyone sees it first, whatever the sort order. You can pin your own comment or someone else's. It is free space that most creators waste. Used properly it carries the thing the post could not fit: the price, the address, the correction, the link, the answer to the question forty people are about to ask. On YouTube it is also a place to seed a genuine discussion prompt, and on TikTok and Instagram a pinned comment from the creator often gets more replies than the post's own caption does.
What does Pinned comment mean for a business in Pakistan?
Pakistani comment sections fill up with the same three questions on every post: rate, location, delivery. Pinning the answer cuts your reply workload and stops the top comment being somebody complaining that nobody answers. If a video quotes a price that has since changed — and with the rupee, prices change — pin the correction rather than deleting a video that is still earning views.
A worked example
A G-9 laptop dealer pins 'Ryzen 5 model — PKR 138,000 as of August 2026, shop 24 Karachi Company, delivery all Islamabad' on a video with 62,000 views. Repeat price questions drop from about 90 a week to 12, and the pinned comment itself collects 430 likes.

Understanding the terms is useful. Doing the work every day is the hard part — and that is what we do, from PKR 15,000 a month.
