What is Offline conversion?
An offline conversion is a sale or result that happens away from the website — in a showroom, over the phone, on WhatsApp or at delivery — and is then reported back to the ad platform. Google Ads and Meta both accept uploads or API connections that match these outcomes to the original ad click, typically using a click ID captured on the form or hashed contact details. It closes the gap between 'a lead came in' and 'that lead paid', which is the gap most local advertisers cannot see. Once platforms receive these, their automated bidding can learn to find people who resemble paying customers instead of people who merely fill in forms.
What does Offline conversion mean for a business in Pakistan?
Almost every Pakistani service sale ends offline: a property file signed in an office, a sofa paid for in cash, a COD parcel accepted at the door. Even a weekly manual upload of which leads actually paid gives Google and Meta far better signal than form fills alone.
A worked example
Imagine a Bahria Town real estate office that captures each lead's click ID in a hidden form field and logs outcomes in its sheet. Every Monday it uploads the leads that booked a site visit and those that paid a token. After a couple of months, campaigns are bidding towards visit-bookers rather than casual form fillers.
