What is Evergreen content?
Evergreen content stays useful long after it is published, because it answers a question that does not change. A guide to the documents needed for a passport renewal keeps earning views for years; a post about this week's price change is dead by Friday. Evergreen pieces are slower to take off, since they compete with existing answers rather than riding attention, but they compound: a library of thirty means the channel receives views every day whether or not you posted this week. Most pages need both kinds, in roughly a three-to-one ratio.
What does Evergreen content mean for a business in Pakistan?
Process questions are the richest evergreen seam in Pakistan, because official information is scattered and often out of date: NADRA appointments, passport renewal, vehicle transfer at the excise office, filing on IRIS, opening a Payoneer account. One clear, correct video on any of these outlives a hundred trend posts. The one obligation is updating it when a fee or a form changes, and saying on camera when it was recorded.
A worked example
A channel's 40 videos split into 30 trend-led and 10 evergreen. Eighteen months later the 30 trend videos bring almost nothing, while 6 of the 10 evergreen ones still produce views every day. A quarter of the library is generating nearly all of the ongoing traffic, so next year's plan flips the ratio.
