What is Domain name?
A domain name is the address people type to reach a website, such as yourbusiness.com or yourbusiness.pk. It is rented, not bought outright, through a registrar, and must be renewed every year or for several years at a time; if it lapses, someone else can register it. The domain is separate from the hosting where the website files live, and from the email service that uses the domain. A good business domain is short, easy to say over the phone, spelled the way customers would guess, and registered in the owner's name rather than a developer's.
