Social media management for online sellers in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Selling on Daraz or through Instagram DMs is a courier business with a shop attached, usually run out of a spare room in G-13 or Bahria. Orders average PKR 1,500 to 4,000, cash on delivery, and every parcel that comes back costs the courier fee twice. Content is what stops the returns.

What makes social media hard for online sellers?

These are the things we hear most from online sellers in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Cash-on-delivery returns eat the profit — if even a fifth of parcels come back you have paid the courier twice for nothing.
  • 02Daraz decides who sees you, and one late dispatch or one-star rating drops you off the first page with no warning.
  • 03Forty sellers list the identical imported item and the only lever anyone pulls is price, so everyone's margin shrinks together.
  • 04Orders land in Instagram DMs, post comments, WhatsApp and Daraz chat at once, and one gets missed every single day.
  • 05Buyers do not trust the catalogue photo — they ask for a picture of the actual piece in your hand before they will confirm.

What should a online seller business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Packed and dispatched today

A daily packing clip proves you are a real seller with real stock, not a page that will vanish with an advance. It is the cheapest trust content in this trade.

  • Today's parcels being packed and labelled, one continuous take
  • Courier pickup at 4pm with the receipt count shown
  • How we pack a fragile item so it survives Leopards

02

The actual item in hand

Catalogue photos cause returns. Film the real product — the stitching, the weight, the colour in daylight — so what arrives matches what was expected and the parcel stays sold.

  • Catalogue photo versus the real thing, side by side
  • Fabric and finish close up, filmed near a window
  • Size and measurement read off a tape on camera

03

Sale-day build-up

Your year has fixed peaks: 11.11, 12.12, Ramadan, Eid and the last week of every month when salaries land. Plan content three weeks ahead of each and stop improvising.

  • 11.11 haul list: what we are discounting and by how much
  • Salary week bundle under PKR 3,000
  • Ramadan restock: what to order before dispatch slows down

04

Proof it arrived

New buyers are deciding whether you are real. Repost delivered photos, screenshot ratings, show a customer's unboxing — the doubt this removes is worth more than a discount.

  • Customer photos from this week, reposted with permission
  • Daraz rating screenshots for the top three products
  • A buyer in Multan unboxing what we shipped on Monday

Which platforms are worth it for online sellers?

Ranked for this trade specifically, with how often we would post on each.

Instagram#11 reel daily plus stories with order links and pollsThe DM is the checkout — buyers ask, confirm and share their address without ever seeing a website.
TikTok#21 to 2 videos dailyOne product video that travels brings a week of orders from cities you have never shipped to before.
Facebook#35 posts per week plus group activityBuy-and-sell groups and Marketplace still deliver cash-on-delivery orders from buyers who do not use Instagram.
WhatsApp Channels#43 broadcasts per weekPast buyers are your cheapest orders — a restock alert to them costs nothing and converts far better than a new ad.

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

Average order sits between PKR 1,500 and 4,000. After courier at PKR 200 to 350, packaging, and the parcels that come back, thin pricing kills you. A buyer who orders three times a year is where the profit actually lives, not the first sale.

Daraz Pakistan

Campaign dates are drilled in for weeks so buyers wait to spend. Any seller can build the same anticipation around their own sale day.

Instagram

Rastah

A Pakistani brand built almost entirely on Instagram by having a point of view, not a catalogue. Drops sell out because the story came first.

Instagram

Markhor

They sell the craft behind the product — the leather, the maker, the process. That story is what lets an online-only brand charge more.

Where are online sellers concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • G-13

G-13 was laid out for federal government employees and is now fully lived in — four sub-sectors of houses, a growing Markaz, and families who bought early and stayed. Clinics, schools, bakeries and property offices dominate. NUST and the motorway are both close, so student rentals are common here.

  • B-17

Multi Gardens B-17 sits out on the GT Road side towards Sangjani, and it has become a small town of its own — blocks of finished houses, schools, clinics, marriage halls and a busy commercial area. It suits young families priced out of the sectors and people working near the new airport.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

  • PWD Housing Society

PWD sits just off the Islamabad Expressway and is one of the cheapest addresses that still carries an Islamabad postcode. Its double road is lined with banks, bakeries, clinics, phone shops and tuition centres, serving renting young families, students and people who commute into both cities every morning.

Rawalpindi

  • Ghauri Town

Ghauri Town runs to seven phases off the Expressway and is the twin cities' student and young-renter belt. Rooms are cheap, mess kitchens feed hundreds, and half the shops are aimed at people who will move out in two years. High turnover means constant new customers and almost no loyalty.

  • Bahria Town Phase 1–6

The first six phases of Bahria Town Rawalpindi are the settled ones — trees grown in, families moved in years ago. Civic Centre in Phase 4 is the commercial anchor, with a cinema, restaurants and clinics. Customers here check your Instagram before they visit, and they will pay for presentation.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

Which services move the numbers for online sellers?

Online sellers questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for online sellers in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most online sellers start on Pro at PKR 70,000+. Daily video, two or three platforms, ads on campaign days and an inbox that never empties. Pro covers near-unlimited editing, the ad management and a calendar planned around 11.11, Ramadan and salary week. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should online sellers focus on first?

Instagram. The DM is the checkout — buyers ask, confirm and share their address without ever seeing a website. We would run it at 1 reel daily plus stories with order links and polls and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a online seller business?

packed and dispatched today, the actual item in hand, sale-day build-up — those three alone fill a month. A daily packing clip proves you are a real seller with real stock, not a page that will vanish with an advance. It is the cheapest trust content in this trade.

Do you work with online sellers in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of online sellers around G-13, B-17, I-8, Ghauri Town. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a online seller account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
