Social media management for catering services in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Catering in Islamabad and Rawalpindi is a booking business, not a footfall business. One wedding at PKR 2,500 a head for 400 guests is a million rupees. Your page exists to prove you can plate that many covers — and to catch enquiries in October, before November to February fills up.

What makes social media hard for catering services?

These are the things we hear most from catering services in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Your whole year is decided in four months, and one badly handled December wedding costs you the next season.
  • 02People message asking only per head rate? and vanish if you cannot answer inside an hour.
  • 03You cook in other people's marquees and halls, so you almost never get decent photographs of your own work.
  • 04Families compare you against a relative's cousin who quotes PKR 400 less per head and brings four untrained boys.
  • 05Ramadan dumps a week's worth of corporate iftar enquiries on you at once, all of them wanting delivery in three days.

What should a catering service business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Menus with real per-head prices

The one thing every enquiry wants and almost no caterer publishes. Put up three menus at three price points, stating what is included — crockery, waiters, chafing dishes — and the time-wasters filter themselves out before they message.

  • Three wedding menus at three per-head rates, side by side
  • What PKR 2,000 a head actually includes: dishes, staff, crockery
  • Corporate lunch box menu with a per-box price for orders over fifty

02

Setup, not just food

The buyer is picturing an entire evening, not a plate. Film the empty hall at 4pm, the chafing dishes going down, the buffet lit and complete at 8pm from the same camera position. The transformation is the product.

  • Empty marquee at 4pm and full buffet at 8pm, identical angle
  • How we lay a 400-guest buffet so the queue never blocks the stage
  • Twelve staff plating a mayun dinner, filmed from behind the counter

03

Proof of scale

Anyone can cook for forty. Show the numbers that let a father relax: how many deghs, how many uniformed staff, how food stays hot for three hours, and what happens when the baraat is late.

  • Six deghs of pulao loading at 5am for a Chaklala Scheme 3 wedding
  • How we hold food hot when the baraat arrives ninety minutes late
  • Our twenty-person team lined up in uniform before service

04

Dates and the season

Publish the calendar. Which weekends have gone, when to call, how much advance is needed. Urgency in this trade is genuine — December Saturdays really do run out by the middle of October.

  • December dates left: only two Saturdays still open
  • Corporate iftar bookings close on the 20th of Shaban
  • How much advance we take and exactly what it covers

Which platforms are worth it for catering services?

Ranked for this trade specifically, with how often we would post on each.

Facebook#14 posts per week plus same-day Messenger repliesWedding catering in Rawalpindi is still shortlisted on Facebook, and the Messenger enquiry usually comes from the father, not the couple.
WhatsApp Channels#22 broadcasts per weekEvery catering deal closes on WhatsApp anyway, so a channel keeps last year's clients seeing your menus before their next function.
Instagram#33 reels per week plus stories from every eventYounger couples in Islamabad and the event planners who subcontract to you shortlist caterers from Reels of the buffet setup.
YouTube#41 long video per monthOne ten-minute walkthrough of a wedding you catered answers every question a family has before they pick up the phone.

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

Twin-cities caterers usually quote PKR 1,800 to 4,000 per head, so a 400-guest wedding is PKR 700,000 to 1.6 million. Two extra bookings a season pays for years of social media, which is why an unanswered enquiry is the most expensive thing you do all week.

Where are catering services concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • G-9

G-9 Markaz is Karachi Company, the market ordinary Islamabad actually shops in. Wedding-season cloth, shoes, luggage, mobile repair, cheap electronics and a hundred tailors, spread over blocks that stay busy until late. The residential side is older middle-class housing and government flats, so footfall never depends on visitors.

  • I-10

I-10 is where a lot of the twin cities' everyday trade happens. The Markaz is packed with keenly priced clothes, shoes, phone shops and furniture, and the sub-sectors hold cheap rentals for students and workers. Its edge on IJP Road makes it as much a Rawalpindi market as an Islamabad one.

  • PWD Housing Society

PWD sits just off the Islamabad Expressway and is one of the cheapest addresses that still carries an Islamabad postcode. Its double road is lined with banks, bakeries, clinics, phone shops and tuition centres, serving renting young families, students and people who commute into both cities every morning.

Rawalpindi

  • Chaklala Scheme 3

Chaklala Scheme 3 is settled Cantt-side housing beside PAF Base Nur Khan, the old Benazir Bhutto airport. Serving and retired officers' families live here, so the money is steady and the taste is conservative. The market runs to cafés, dental clinics, uniform tailors and academies rather than anything loud.

  • Media Town

Media Town was laid out for journalists and broadcast staff and has kept its calm, wide-street character. It works as a professional-services pocket now: paediatricians, physiotherapists, O Level tutors and small consultancies operating from ground floors. Clients come from Media Town and the societies beside it, not from across the city.

  • Ghauri Town

Ghauri Town runs to seven phases off the Expressway and is the twin cities' student and young-renter belt. Rooms are cheap, mess kitchens feed hundreds, and half the shops are aimed at people who will move out in two years. High turnover means constant new customers and almost no loyalty.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • wedding caterers Rawalpindi price list
  • shadi ki catering rate Islamabad
  • corporate iftar catering Islamabad

Which services move the numbers for catering services?

Catering services questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for catering services in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most catering services start on Growth at PKR 35,000. Caterers need proof and fast replies more than daily posting. Growth gives you twelve short videos a month cut from real events, one long walkthrough, and someone answering the per-head-rate messages the same day. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should catering services focus on first?

Facebook. Wedding catering in Rawalpindi is still shortlisted on Facebook, and the Messenger enquiry usually comes from the father, not the couple. We would run it at 4 posts per week plus same-day messenger replies and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a catering service business?

menus with real per-head prices, setup, not just food, proof of scale — those three alone fill a month. The one thing every enquiry wants and almost no caterer publishes. Put up three menus at three price points, stating what is included — crockery, waiters, chafing dishes — and the time-wasters filter themselves out before they message.

Do you work with catering services in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of catering services around G-9, I-10, Chaklala Scheme 3, Media Town. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a catering service account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
