Social media management for restaurants in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

A sit-down restaurant in Islamabad lives on weekends. Monday to Thursday the hall is half empty, and that is where posting earns its keep — a weekday deal, a birthday table setup, one honest kitchen reel. A family of four spends around PKR 7,000 here, so ten extra weekday bookings a week is real money.

What makes social media hard for restaurants?

These are the things we hear most from restaurants in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01The hall is packed on Saturday night and nearly empty on Tuesday, but rent, staff and gas cost the same every day.
  • 02Customer photos taken under yellow lamps make good food look grey, and those are the pictures sitting on your Google listing.
  • 03Delivery apps keep a big slice of every order, so a table booked directly with you is worth far more than the same food sent out.
  • 04One angry review about a slow waiter stays at the top of your Google profile for months.
  • 05Large bookings — birthdays, rukhsati dinners, office farewells — arrive as WhatsApp voice notes on three different phones and get double-booked.

What should a restaurant business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

The quiet-night offer

Weekday tables are the cheapest thing you own. Every Sunday you announce what is worth coming in for Monday to Thursday, with the price on screen, so people who cannot stretch to Saturday still come.

  • Tuesday family deal, full plate shot with the per-head price on screen
  • Same terrace filmed empty at 8pm Tuesday and full at 8pm Saturday
  • Story poll: which dish should we discount next Wednesday?

02

Kitchen and sourcing

Show the parts nobody is allowed to see: the morning vegetable crates, the marinade sitting overnight, the tandoor being lit at five. In a city that worries about hygiene, an unedited kitchen clip beats any certificate on the wall.

  • Morning delivery being checked at the back door — crates of tomatoes, mutton on the scale
  • Head chef mixing tonight's marinade, no music, just the sound of the kitchen
  • A 60-second walk from the raw fridge to the pass

03

Occasion setups

Birthdays, anniversaries and family dinners are the bookings that fill a Tuesday. Show the cake arriving, the table decorated, the reserved card — so the next customer knows exactly what to ask for and what it costs.

  • Table set for a 60th birthday: balloons, cake, reserved card
  • Rukhsati dinner for thirty in the private hall, filmed on the day
  • Price card: what a birthday setup costs and what is included

04

The staff and the regulars

The people working the floor are why anyone comes back. The waiter who has been there nine years, the tandoorchi's hands, the family that eats here every Eid — none of this can be copied by the chain opening next door.

  • Meet Nasir bhai, our tandoorchi for eleven years
  • Regular customer answers: which dish do you order every single time?
  • Eid day, same family, same table — photographed every year

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

A family of four spends roughly PKR 6,000 to 10,000 on a sit-down dinner in F-7, and a household that eats out twice a month is worth well over PKR 150,000 a year. Delivery apps keep about a fifth of every order; a direct booking keeps all of it.

Where are restaurants concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • Blue Area

Islamabad's central business district: a long strip of office towers along Jinnah Avenue, sitting between the F and G sectors. Banks, telecom head offices, law chambers, travel agents and consultancies are stacked floor on floor, with ground-floor cafés feeding the lunch rush. Almost nobody lives here, and by nine at night it is empty.

  • F-6

One of the oldest and richest sectors, lived in by senior civil servants, politicians and old Islamabad families. Two very different markets serve it: Super Market in the Markaz for books, banks, tailors and pharmacies, and Kohsar Market in F-6/3, where the city's expensive cafés and bakeries have clustered for years.

  • F-7

F-7 Markaz — everybody calls it Jinnah Super — is the market every person in Islamabad has shopped in at least once. Saeed Book Bank, bridal boutiques, salons, phone shops and a thick ring of restaurants. Behind it the sector is quiet, leafy and costly, full of embassy staff and business families.

  • F-10

A settled upper-middle-class sector on the western side, popular with doctors, serving officers and retired families. F-10 Markaz carries clinics, dental surgeries, labs, bakeries and bank branches rather than nightlife, and the sub-sector strips fill up after school hours with tuition centres and salons. Fatima Jinnah Park is on its doorstep.

Rawalpindi

  • Saddar

Saddar is the Cantt side of Pindi's old shopping heart. Bank Road and Kashmir Road are lined with tailors, shoe shops, opticians and watch repairers who have held the same shutter for forty years. Trade runs on walk-ins from the railway station and the Cantt offices, and almost none of it is online.

  • Bahria Town Phase 1–6

The first six phases of Bahria Town Rawalpindi are the settled ones — trees grown in, families moved in years ago. Civic Centre in Phase 4 is the commercial anchor, with a cinema, restaurants and clinics. Customers here check your Instagram before they visit, and they will pay for presentation.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • best restaurant in Islamabad for family dinner
  • F-7 mein acha restaurant
  • restaurants in Rawalpindi with private family hall
  • birthday dinner booking Islamabad
  • Islamabad restaurant deals today
  • sasta acha khana Islamabad
  • restaurant social media management Islamabad

Which services move the numbers for restaurants?

Restaurants questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for restaurants in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most restaurants start on Business bundle at from PKR 25,000. A restaurant needs the map pin as much as the reel. The Business bundle covers the Google Business Profile, real photos, weekly posts and local SEO, so someone searching for a restaurant in F-7 actually finds you. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should restaurants focus on first?

Instagram. Islamabad diners choose where to eat by scrolling photos of the seating and the plate, not by reading a menu. We would run it at 4 reels and 5 story sets per week and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a restaurant business?

the quiet-night offer, kitchen and sourcing, occasion setups — those three alone fill a month. Weekday tables are the cheapest thing you own. Every Sunday you announce what is worth coming in for Monday to Thursday, with the price on screen, so people who cannot stretch to Saturday still come.

Do you work with restaurants in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of restaurants around Blue Area, F-6, F-7, F-10. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a restaurant account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
