What these numbers actually mean
Ask what the deliverable count is before you ask what the day costs. Two photographers quoting PKR 35,000 for a half day can deliver twelve images and forty images, and the cheaper-looking one is often the one with fewer files and more charges afterwards for extra retouching. Get the number of finished images, the retouching level and the turnaround into the same message as the price. Photographers in this market are used to being asked and generally answer plainly.
Sort out usage rights if you intend to advertise. A standard shoot in Pakistan is often quoted for social posting on your own page, and running the same image as a paid Meta ad for three months is a different licence in some contracts and simply assumed in others. Agree it out loud. It costs a fraction to include at booking and is awkward to negotiate later, especially if a model appears in the frame.
One good shoot a year plus phone footage every week is the right shape for most local businesses. Book the photographer for the things a phone genuinely cannot do — the full menu, the treatment room, the product range, the staff — then run those images through your posts, your website and your Google Business Profile for months. Profiles with real photos of the actual premises get chosen over profiles with stock images almost every time in the map results.
