Answered · How to

Should I make a separate Facebook page for each branch of my business?

Usually no for content, sometimes yes for location. Keep one main brand page for posts and reputation, and only add branch-level pages, or a parent-and-locations set-up in Meta Business Suite, when each branch has its own phone, hours and enquiries — for example a clinic chain with branches in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The longer answer

Separate pages for every branch split your followers, recommendations and effort. A restaurant with outlets in F-7 and Bahria Town that runs two independent pages has to produce content twice, answers questions on both, and ends up with two half-active pages instead of one strong one. Customers also get confused about which page is official. For most small chains, one brand page with all branch addresses, phone numbers and hours listed clearly, plus a pinned post covering locations, is enough.

There are good reasons for branch pages in some cases. If each branch has its own phone line, its own staff answering messages, different opening hours or a different menu, customers benefit from finding the right branch directly. Meta has offered ways for brands to manage several location pages under one parent brand, so that people can find the nearest branch while the brand stays consistent; check what Meta Business Suite currently offers for your account before building it. Branch pages also make sense when a franchise owner runs a location independently.

Whatever you choose, the details must be right everywhere. Each branch's address, map pin, phone and hours should match its Google Business Profile, because customers cross-check, and conflicting hours lose visits. Content can still feature each branch on the main page: a Reel from the Saddar outlet one day, a dish from the Blue Area branch the next. If branch pages exist, make sure each one is actually answered; a branch page with an unanswered inbox is worse than none. When we set up Facebook for a multi-branch business, we decide this in the audit based on how enquiries really arrive.
