How do I set up a catalogue on WhatsApp Business?

The catalogue lives inside the app under Business tools. Each item takes a photo (up to several per item), a name, a price field you can leave blank, a description, a link and an item code. Collections let you group items, and a customer who opens your profile sees them in order. Items go through an automatic check against WhatsApp's commerce policy, so anything in a restricted category, such as medicines or weapons, will be rejected.

What makes a catalogue useful is the writing, not the button. Name items the way customers ask for them: 'Sheesham bed, king size, 2 drawers' beats 'Model 104'. Put the details people always ask in the description, such as size, colour options, delivery areas (Bahria Town, DHA, Saddar) and whether cash on delivery is available. If prices change daily, leave the price out and say 'price on request' rather than showing an old number that starts an argument.

Photograph products in daylight against a plain background, the same angle each time, so the grid looks tidy. For services, use one image per service with a short title over it, for example a salon's bridal, party and hair-colour menus as separate items. Keep the catalogue to what you actually sell this month; a stale catalogue with sold-out items creates more chat, not less.

Then put it to work. Save a quick reply that sends the catalogue link to anyone who asks 'kya kya available hai?', add the link to your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile, and share individual item links when someone asks about one product. Revisit it at the start of each season, before Ramadan and Eid in particular, when the questions change.
