Wrong hours cost more during Ramadan than any other month. Restaurants in Islamabad and Rawalpindi move to sehri and iftar service, clinics shorten evening sessions, shops open late and stay open after taraweeh, and customers searching at night rely on what Google says. If your profile shows normal hours, people either arrive at a closed shutter or assume you are shut when you are busy. Both cost you, and the first earns angry reviews.

Google gives two tools. Regular hours are your usual weekly timetable; special hours override specific dates. Since Ramadan lasts a month, the cleanest approach for most businesses is to change regular hours on the first day and put a reminder in your phone to restore them after Eid. Use special hours for the days that differ again — the last nights before Eid, when markets like Raja Bazaar and Jinnah Super stay open late, and the Eid holidays themselves, when many businesses close or open briefly. If you have several branches, set each one separately; a branch near a mosque or a busy market may keep different timings.

Because Eid depends on moon sighting, set the expected dates a few days in advance and recheck on chand raat. The same habit applies to other closures: Muharram processions that block roads in parts of Rawalpindi, public holidays, or a sudden closure for a family event.
