How do businesses actually sell products through TikTok in Pakistan?

Most sales start on TikTok and finish on WhatsApp. A video shows the product, the bio or comments point to a WhatsApp number or website, and the order is confirmed in chat with cash on delivery or a JazzCash or Easypaisa transfer. The video creates demand; a fast, clear reply closes it.

The longer answer

The path for a typical Pakistani seller looks like this. Someone sees a video of your lawn suits, handmade candles or protein bars, watches it to the end, and taps through to your profile. There they look for three things: more videos showing the same product, the price or a way to ask for it, and how to order. If the bio has a WhatsApp link and a clear line such as "COD all over Pakistan" or "Delivery in Islamabad and Rawalpindi", a share of them message you. The sale then happens in WhatsApp, where you confirm size, colour, address and payment.

That means the TikTok work and the reply work have to be planned together. Videos should show the product in use, the size or texture clearly, and answer the common doubt before it is asked — is the fabric see-through, how big is the box, does the colour match the photo. Comments asking "price?" are a signal of interest; reply quickly, either with the price if you are comfortable posting it or with a short note to check WhatsApp. Pinning a comment with ordering instructions saves dozens of repeat questions. If a video takes off, make sure someone is ready to answer, because a viral video with an ignored inbox wastes the moment.

Some sellers also use TikTok's commerce features where available, or link to a Daraz or website store. Check what TikTok currently offers in Pakistan before planning around a feature, as availability changes by country. Cash on delivery remains common, so plan for returns and fake orders by confirming each order on a call or voice note before dispatch. TikTok works best for products under an impulse-buy threshold; expensive items usually need a few touches across Instagram, WhatsApp and reviews before someone pays.
