Answered · How to

How often should I post on Instagram

Four to five times a week is the honest floor: three Reels and one or two carousels, plus stories on most days. Below three posts a week you are only reaching people who already follow you. A local shop can film a whole week in one 90-minute session.

Instagram pe kitni baar post karna chahiye?

The longer answer

The number that matters is not posts per week but weeks without a gap. An account that posts four times a week for six months beats one that posts ten times a week for three weeks and then disappears until Eid. Pick a cadence you can hold during your busiest season — for a caterer that is wedding season, for a tuition centre that is admissions in August — and hold it.

Split the formats deliberately, because they do different jobs. Reels are how strangers find you. Carousels are what existing followers save and send to a friend, which is why price lists, before-and-afters and "5 things to check before you buy" belong there. Stories are for the people already convinced: today's stock, today's queue, today's delivery going out. Polls and question stickers in stories are also the cheapest content research you will ever do.

Posting more than about two feeds posts a day rarely helps and often splits your own audience between them. If you have made ten Reels in a batch, schedule them across two weeks rather than dumping them in three days. The exception is a genuine event — a sale, an exhibition at Pak-China Centre, an Eid rush — where three or four stories a day for a week is normal and expected.

For most small businesses in the twin cities the real constraint is filming, not posting. That is why we push clients into one filming session a week: an hour and a half, phone on a tripod, ten to fifteen clips, and everything else — cutting, captions, covers, scheduling — happens on our side. Starter at PKR 15,000 covers eight edits and daily posting on one platform, which fits this cadence almost exactly.
