What is Service-area business?
A service-area business is one that goes to its customers instead of having customers come to it: plumbers, electricians, cleaners, movers, home tutors, pest control, mobile car wash. On Google Business Profile, such a business is supposed to hide its street address and list the areas it serves instead. It can still appear in the map pack, but Google judges distance from the hidden address and from the listed areas differently than for a shop. Listing a home address publicly, or inventing a shopfront to show a pin, breaks Google's guidelines and is a common reason profiles get suspended.
