What is Internal link?
An internal link is a link from one page of your website to another page on the same site. Menus, footers and links inside paragraphs all count. Internal links do three jobs: they help visitors find the next useful page, they help search engines discover pages and understand how they relate, and they pass some of a strong page's weight to weaker ones. A page with no internal links pointing at it is hard for Google to find and is treated as unimportant. Internal linking is the cheapest SEO work there is, because you control every link yourself.
What does Internal link mean for a business in Pakistan?
Small Pakistani business sites are often built as five pages linked only from the menu, with service detail locked inside one long page. Adding a page per service and linking between them in the body text, the way a person would explain things, is often the first change that moves rankings for an Islamabad site, before any outside links are bought or chased.
A worked example
A Chaklala Scheme III dental clinic adds a braces page. It links to it from the homepage service list, from the existing teeth whitening page in a sentence about smile treatments, and from a blog post about children's dental visits. The braces page now has three internal links and is indexed within days instead of waiting for Google to stumble across it.
