Social media management for eye clinics in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Eye practices in the twin cities live on two things: cataract lists for people over 55, and LASIK for people under 30. A cataract is PKR 40,000 to 120,000 per eye depending on the lens, LASIK PKR 70,000 to 130,000 for both. Free trust-hospital camps set the price floor, so content has to explain the difference.

What makes social media hard for eye clinics?

These are the things we hear most from eye clinics in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Diabetic patients arrive after the damage is permanent, because nothing hurt until the vision went.
  • 02Al-Shifa Trust and LRBT do excellent work for free, so a private cataract quote needs an honest explanation rather than a discount.
  • 03Opticians hand out glasses without a proper refraction, and the patient blames the eye doctor when the headaches continue.
  • 04Patients mix up safed motia and kala motia and turn up expecting the wrong surgery entirely.
  • 05A LASIK enquiry takes three months and twenty questions before anyone books a slot.

What should a eye specialist business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Safed motia, kala motia

The two get confused constantly. Separate them clearly: cataract is cloudy and fixable, glaucoma is silent and takes vision permanently. This one distinction brings people in for a test they were avoiding.

  • Cataract versus glaucoma in one minute, showing what each looks like from inside the eye
  • Why glaucoma has no symptoms until half the field of vision is already gone
  • The eye pressure test, filmed. It takes four seconds and does not hurt

02

Sugar and your eyes

Diabetes is everywhere in the twin cities and retinopathy arrives without warning. Push one message hard and often: if you have sugar, get the retina checked once a year even when you can see perfectly.

  • A diabetic retina at year five versus year fifteen, side by side
  • 'Nazar theek hai' is not a reason to skip the test, explained in Urdu
  • The 20-minute dilated eye exam filmed step by step, including the blurry drive home

03

Glasses, screens and children

Parents and office workers search this constantly. Screen time, myopia in children, blue-light claims, and an honest answer about what does and does not remove a prescription.

  • Your child sits too close to the TV. What that actually means
  • Blue-light glasses and what the evidence really shows
  • The 20-20-20 rule for people staring at Excel in Blue Area all day

04

LASIK, without the sales pitch

The under-30 crowd researches for months before calling anyone. Answer the real questions: who is not eligible, what the numbers must be, what the recovery week feels like, and what PKR 100,000 covers.

  • Five people who should not have LASIK, and why we send them home
  • Day one to day seven after LASIK, filmed with a real patient
  • LASIK versus a lens implant, and how your prescription decides it

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

A consultation is PKR 2,000 to 3,500, cataract surgery PKR 40,000 to 120,000 per eye depending on the lens, and LASIK PKR 70,000 to 130,000 for both eyes. Ten cataract cases a month is a completely different business from twenty consultations a day.

Who is already doing this well in Pakistan?

Accounts worth studying before you post anything. We are not affiliated with any of them — they are here because the approach is worth copying.

Facebook · the largest eye hospital network in the Rawalpindi region

Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital

Their camp and awareness posts teach the whole city to think about eyes at all. Private clinics should answer the questions that awareness creates.

Facebook · Pakistan's best-known free eye care charity

LRBT

Patient stories, not equipment photos, carry their message. One face before and after cataract surgery beats any machine on your feed.

YouTube · one of Pakistan's largest health-content publishers

Marham

Their Urdu explainers on motia and diabetic eye disease reach the exact people who assume blurry vision is just age catching up.

Where are eye clinics concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • Blue Area

Islamabad's central business district: a long strip of office towers along Jinnah Avenue, sitting between the F and G sectors. Banks, telecom head offices, law chambers, travel agents and consultancies are stacked floor on floor, with ground-floor cafés feeding the lunch rush. Almost nobody lives here, and by nine at night it is empty.

  • F-8

F-8 is where Islamabad goes for its legal work. The district courts sit in F-8 Markaz, so the plazas around them are wall to wall with lawyers' chambers, stamp vendors and typists. Ayub Market handles the daily shopping, and the residents are largely government officers and settled professional families.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

Rawalpindi

  • Peshawar Road

Peshawar Road is Pindi's mechanic belt. From Chur Chowk outward it is workshops, tyre shops, denting and painting, spare-part traders and hardware, with the Pir Wadhai terminal feeding it trucks and wagons. Customers arrive with a broken car, not a search query. Word of mouth still moves most of the work here.

  • Satellite Town

Satellite Town was Rawalpindi's first planned suburb, laid out in lettered blocks in the 1960s, and it has aged into a doctors' quarter. Consultant clinics, dental surgeries and small labs work out of converted houses around Holy Family Hospital. Patients are local and they choose on reputation, not advertising.

  • Murree Road

Murree Road is the spine that carries Rawalpindi from Marrir Chowk up to Faizabad, with the Metro Bus running above it the whole way. Car showrooms, marriage halls, furniture galleries and coaching centres take the frontage; everything behind them is housing. Being seen from the bus lane is the whole game.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • aankhon ke doctor Rawalpindi
  • cataract operation cost Pakistan
  • safed motia ka operation
  • LASIK price Islamabad

Which services move the numbers for eye clinics?

Eye specialists questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for eye clinics in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most eye clinics start on Growth at PKR 35,000. Two audiences need two formats: long Urdu video for cataract families and short Reels for LASIK enquiries. Growth funds both, plus the SEO that keeps a surgery explainer findable for years. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should eye clinics focus on first?

Facebook. Cataract patients and the sons and daughters arranging their surgery are almost entirely on Facebook, in Urdu. We would run it at 4 posts a week, one patient story every fortnight and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a eye specialist business?

safed motia, kala motia, sugar and your eyes, glasses, screens and children — those three alone fill a month. The two get confused constantly. Separate them clearly: cataract is cloudy and fixable, glaucoma is silent and takes vision permanently. This one distinction brings people in for a test they were avoiding.

Do you work with eye clinics in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of eye clinics around Blue Area, F-8, I-8, Peshawar Road. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a eye specialist account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
