Social media management for cardiology practices in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Most cardiology patients meet you in an emergency, not a clinic. The ones who choose you chose earlier, usually after a relative's stent. With private angioplasty at PKR 300,000 to 600,000 and AFIC in Rawalpindi doing it for far less, your content is not selling a procedure. It is building the reason someone asks for you by name.

What makes social media hard for cardiology practices?

These are the things we hear most from cardiology practices in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Your busiest referral source is a cardiac event, so you meet patients at their most frightened and least able to choose.
  • 02AFIC and the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology work at a fraction of private cost, so every private quote gets challenged at the desk.
  • 03Patients stop the statin or the blood thinner the moment they feel fine, and come back two years later worse.
  • 04Ramadan brings hundreds of identical questions about medicine timing and fasting, and answering each one privately eats the day.
  • 05Sehat Sahulat card holders assume everything is covered and take the disappointment out on reception staff.

What should a cardiologist business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Is this a heart attack?

The one question that saves lives here. Chest pain versus gas, jaw and arm pain, the different symptoms women get, and the exact instruction: chew an aspirin and get moving, do not drive yourself.

  • Gas or heart: five differences, said plainly in Urdu
  • How a heart attack presents differently in women
  • The first ten minutes, and which twin-city hospitals have a cardiac emergency running at night

02

Numbers that matter

Blood pressure, cholesterol and sugar are the whole game. Teach people to read their own reports: what LDL means, what 140 over 90 means, and why 'main theek hoon' is not a measurement.

  • Reading your own lipid profile line by line
  • Home BP monitoring, and the arm position almost everyone gets wrong
  • Why the doctor wants your LDL under 70 after a stent

03

Living with it

Once diagnosed, a patient needs a decade of guidance. Medicines they will want to stop, fasting, salt, exercise after a stent, air travel. Almost nobody answers these publicly, which is exactly why the content works.

  • Fasting in Ramadan on heart medicine, and how the timings shift
  • Why you cannot stop the blood thinner just because you feel better
  • Walking after angioplasty, from week one to week eight

04

Procedures, without fear

Angiography, stents and bypass are terrifying words to a family. Show the room, the wrist puncture, the length of stay, and what the bill actually contains, including where the Sehat Sahulat card fits.

  • Angiography through the wrist: what the patient sees and feels
  • Stent versus bypass, and how that decision actually gets made
  • What a private angioplasty bill of PKR 400,000 is made of

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

Who is already doing this well in Pakistan?

Accounts worth studying before you post anything. We are not affiliated with any of them — they are here because the approach is worth copying.

YouTube · a major teaching hospital with a national audience

Aga Khan University Hospital

Their cardiac education videos are calm and slow, which suits a frightened patient. Speed and hype work against you in this niche.

Facebook · one of Islamabad's biggest hospital pages

Shifa International Hospital

They hang consultant-led awareness on dates people already recognise, like World Heart Day. A borrowed date doubles the reach of the same content.

YouTube · one of Pakistan's largest health-content publishers

Marham

Their 'seene mein dard' explainers travel widely. A named cardiologist saying the same words carries far more weight than a directory does.

Where are cardiology practices concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • Blue Area

Islamabad's central business district: a long strip of office towers along Jinnah Avenue, sitting between the F and G sectors. Banks, telecom head offices, law chambers, travel agents and consultancies are stacked floor on floor, with ground-floor cafés feeding the lunch rush. Almost nobody lives here, and by nine at night it is empty.

  • F-8

F-8 is where Islamabad goes for its legal work. The district courts sit in F-8 Markaz, so the plazas around them are wall to wall with lawyers' chambers, stamp vendors and typists. Ayub Market handles the daily shopping, and the residents are largely government officers and settled professional families.

  • G-9

G-9 Markaz is Karachi Company, the market ordinary Islamabad actually shops in. Wedding-season cloth, shoes, luggage, mobile repair, cheap electronics and a hundred tailors, spread over blocks that stay busy until late. The residential side is older middle-class housing and government flats, so footfall never depends on visitors.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

Rawalpindi

  • Satellite Town

Satellite Town was Rawalpindi's first planned suburb, laid out in lettered blocks in the 1960s, and it has aged into a doctors' quarter. Consultant clinics, dental surgeries and small labs work out of converted houses around Holy Family Hospital. Patients are local and they choose on reputation, not advertising.

  • Peshawar Road

Peshawar Road is Pindi's mechanic belt. From Chur Chowk outward it is workshops, tyre shops, denting and painting, spare-part traders and hardware, with the Pir Wadhai terminal feeding it trucks and wagons. Customers arrive with a broken car, not a search query. Word of mouth still moves most of the work here.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • best cardiologist in Islamabad
  • dil ke doctor Rawalpindi
  • angiography cost Pakistan
  • seene mein dard ki wajah
  • heart specialist near me F-8
  • stent ka kharcha kitna hai
  • ECG test price Rawalpindi

Which services move the numbers for cardiology practices?

Cardiologists questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for cardiology practices in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most cardiology practices start on Pro at PKR 70,000+. A cardiologist is building a decade-long personal brand across YouTube, Facebook and a WhatsApp channel for existing patients. Pro runs all three together with a planned calendar and a call every two weeks. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should cardiology practices focus on first?

YouTube. Heart disease is one of the most searched medical topics in Pakistan, and a long Urdu answer keeps earning for years. We would run it at 2 to 3 videos a month, 8 to 15 minutes and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a cardiologist business?

is this a heart attack?, numbers that matter, living with it — those three alone fill a month. The one question that saves lives here. Chest pain versus gas, jaw and arm pain, the different symptoms women get, and the exact instruction: chew an aspirin and get moving, do not drive yourself.

Do you work with cardiology practices in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of cardiology practices around Blue Area, F-8, G-9, I-8. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a cardiologist account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
