Social media management for car workshops in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Nobody follows a workshop for fun. They find you at the worst moment: engine light on, AC blowing hot in June, car drowned after a monsoon downpour on Murree Road. An oil change and tuning is around PKR 8,000; an AC compressor or clutch job runs past PKR 50,000. Content makes you the mechanic they already trust.

What makes social media hard for car workshops?

These are the things we hear most from car workshops in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Every customer arrives convinced the last workshop cheated him, so half your job is proving the part you replaced was genuinely finished.
  • 02You quote PKR 12,000 on the phone, open the engine, find two more faults, and now you are the one who 'increased the bill'.
  • 03Cheap copy parts from the local market fail in three months and the customer blames your labour, not the part he insisted on buying himself.
  • 04Load-shedding stops the compressor and the denting-painting booth mid-job, and the man promised his car by evening is standing in your yard at seven.
  • 05Your best mechanic is the business. If he leaves for Dubai, the regular customers follow him and not your signboard.

What should a auto workshop business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Diagnosis on camera

Show the fault being found, not only fixed. The noise, the scan tool reading, the worn part laid beside the new one. This is what makes a stranger drive across the city to you.

  • The knocking noise a customer ignored for a month, and what it looked like when we opened it
  • Reading an OBD code on a Cultus and explaining what it means in plain Urdu
  • Old clutch plate next to the new one, with the mileage each managed

02

Seasonal survival

Twin-city cars fail on a calendar. AC in May, batteries and radiators in June heat, wipers and brakes through monsoon, cold starts and Murree tyres in December. Post the fix a fortnight before the season breaks.

  • Five things to check before you drive up to Murree in snow
  • Why your AC cools fine on the Motorway and not in Blue Area traffic
  • Monsoon flooding: the first ten minutes if water reaches the engine

03

Costs said out loud

Almost nobody in this trade publishes a rate. Put labour charges and part options on screen — genuine, aftermarket, used — with the price and the honest lifespan of each, and you become the safe choice.

  • What a full tuning on a 1300cc actually costs, item by item
  • Genuine versus aftermarket brake pads: the price gap and the stopping distance
  • Three jobs we told customers this month not to bother doing

04

Do it yourself

Teach the small jobs you would rather not be interrupted by. The man who learns to change a bulb from your video brings you the gearbox when it goes.

  • Changing a Corolla air filter in your own driveway in four minutes
  • How to check engine oil properly, and what the colour is telling you
  • Jump-starting a car without damaging the other one

Which platforms are worth it for car workshops?

Facebook#24 repair posts a week plus daily replies in twin-city car groupsTwin-city car groups ask 'koi acha mechanic batao' every day, and a page with real repair footage wins those threads without arguing.

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

An oil change and tuning brings PKR 6,000 to 10,000, AC repair PKR 15,000 to 60,000, denting and painting one panel around PKR 15,000. A workshop with forty regular cars serviced twice a year has predictable income, and content is what fills that list.

Who is already doing this well in Pakistan?

Accounts worth studying before you post anything. We are not affiliated with any of them — they are here because the approach is worth copying.

YouTube · around 2.8 million subscribers

PakWheels.com

Their car-care videos take one fault per video with the part in hand. Workshops film the entire service and lose the viewer at minute two.

YouTube · around 580k subscribers

Pak Bike Repairing

No intro, no music, just here-is-the-fault and here-is-the-fix. It is bikes rather than cars, but the format transfers exactly.

Facebook · around 440k page likes

PakWheels Auto Parts & Accessories

Posts that answer 'which part fits which car' sell far harder than any discount post. A workshop can own that question locally.

Where are car workshops concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • I-10

I-10 is where a lot of the twin cities' everyday trade happens. The Markaz is packed with keenly priced clothes, shoes, phone shops and furniture, and the sub-sectors hold cheap rentals for students and workers. Its edge on IJP Road makes it as much a Rawalpindi market as an Islamabad one.

  • G-9

G-9 Markaz is Karachi Company, the market ordinary Islamabad actually shops in. Wedding-season cloth, shoes, luggage, mobile repair, cheap electronics and a hundred tailors, spread over blocks that stay busy until late. The residential side is older middle-class housing and government flats, so footfall never depends on visitors.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

Rawalpindi

  • Peshawar Road

Peshawar Road is Pindi's mechanic belt. From Chur Chowk outward it is workshops, tyre shops, denting and painting, spare-part traders and hardware, with the Pir Wadhai terminal feeding it trucks and wagons. Customers arrive with a broken car, not a search query. Word of mouth still moves most of the work here.

  • Westridge

Westridge is quiet Cantt housing off Peshawar Road, split into Westridge 1, 2 and 3, with a small market most residents never need to leave for daily things. Bakeries, a couple of clinics, tuition centres and salons run on regulars. Nobody advertises here, because everybody already knows everybody.

  • Saddar

Saddar is the Cantt side of Pindi's old shopping heart. Bank Road and Kashmir Road are lined with tailors, shoe shops, opticians and watch repairers who have held the same shutter for forty years. Trade runs on walk-ins from the railway station and the Cantt offices, and almost none of it is online.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • car workshop near me Islamabad
  • best car mechanic in Rawalpindi
  • car AC repair Islamabad price
  • gaari ki tuning ka kharcha
  • denting painting Rawalpindi rates
  • auto electrician near me Islamabad
  • car mechanic I-10 Islamabad

Which services move the numbers for car workshops?

Auto workshops questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for car workshops in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most car workshops start on Business bundle at from PKR 25,000. Most of this trade's customers search 'car workshop near me' on Google Maps, not Instagram. The Business bundle sets up the site and Google Business Profile first, then adds daily posting on one platform. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should car workshops focus on first?

YouTube. Someone hearing a strange noise types it into YouTube at midnight, and a repair video from three years ago still brings that car to your gate. We would run it at 1 repair video a week, 6 to 12 minutes, plus 3 shorts and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a auto workshop business?

diagnosis on camera, seasonal survival, costs said out loud — those three alone fill a month. Show the fault being found, not only fixed. The noise, the scan tool reading, the worn part laid beside the new one. This is what makes a stranger drive across the city to you.

Do you work with car workshops in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of car workshops around I-10, G-9, I-8, Peshawar Road. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a auto workshop account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
