A Short opening we would test
Open on the guest mid-sentence: 'Pakistan mein startup fail hone ki asal wajah funding nahi hai.' No intro card, no logo sting, no host question first. The claim lands in the first second and the explanation follows.
YouTube Shorts
From each full episode we pull the moments where a guest says something a stranger will want to argue with, reframe them vertically around the speaker's face, burn in captions in the language the guest spoke, and upload them as Shorts linked to the full episode. The clip is the advertisement; the sit-down remains the product.
On the Starter package, PKR 15,000 per month. Ad spend, if you run ads, is separate.
Why it fits
Almost nobody in Pakistan discovers a podcast by browsing a podcast app. They meet a forty-second clip of a guest saying something blunt, then type that guest's name into YouTube. That makes the clip the front door of the whole show, yet most hosts treat it as an afterthought cut on a phone the night before. The real skill is choosing the forty seconds, which is rarely the introduction and rarely the moment the host enjoyed most. It is the sentence that starts an argument in the comments.

How one episode becomes a week of Shorts
Release day: the episode plus one Short. The following five days: one clip daily, each carrying a different opinion from the same guest, with the strongest saved for the evening your analytics show the most viewers online.
Pick the moment where the guest states one clear, debatable opinion in under a minute, not the part you personally enjoyed most. For an Islamabad interview show that is often a direct answer to a hard question — about leaving Pakistan, money or a failed business — that needs no setup to understand.
Enough to keep the channel posting until the next episode, which for a weekly show is roughly four to eight clips per sit-down. Fewer if the guest was guarded, more if the conversation was sharp. The strength of each moment matters more than the count, so we never pad a week with weak cuts.

Price
The Starter package includes eight short edits a month posted to one platform; cutting more than that, or posting across Reels and TikTok as well, moves you to Growth or Pro.

These are the questions we get on WhatsApp every week, answered the way we would answer them there.
WhatsApp usGenerally yes for a podcast, because the point of a clip is to send viewers to the full conversation and YouTube can link the two on one channel. A separate clips channel can make sense later, once the volume would otherwise bury your long-form uploads.
They are watched by a faster-scrolling audience, so Shorts views will not convert one for one into episode views. They do introduce your guests to people who would never have searched for the show, and some of those people go on to watch the whole thing.
