How do I do YouTube keyword research for Urdu and Roman Urdu searches?

Most keyword tools are built around English and handle Roman Urdu badly, because the same word is spelt many ways: "kaise", "kese" and "kaisay" are one question to a person and three strings to a tool. YouTube's autocomplete does not have that problem, since it suggests what people actually typed. Open a private browser window so your own history does not colour the results, type a few words, and add letters of the alphabet after them to see more suggestions. Do it in each script and spelling.

Write the suggestions in a sheet and group the ones that mean the same thing. For each group, search it and look at the first page of results. If the top videos are old, poorly lit or answer a slightly different question, there is room for you. If they are recent, long and clearly good, choose a narrower phrase, such as adding a city, a model year or a price bracket, rather than competing head-on.

Then put the phrase where YouTube reads it. The title gets the spelling most people use, the first line of the description restates it naturally, the other spellings appear once in the description or chapter names, and you say the phrase aloud in the first half-minute. Do not paste a block of keyword variations at the bottom of the description; it reads as spam to viewers and adds little for YouTube.

Revisit after a month. YouTube Studio's traffic-source report lists the actual search terms that brought viewers to each video, and those often include spellings you did not think of. Use them in the next video's title.
