How to write a good YouTube title
Put the phrase people search at the front, keep it under about 60 characters so phones do not cut it, and make sure it promises something the thumbnail does not already say. "Vlog #34" tells nobody anything; "Islamabad se Murree — poora kharcha 9,000 rupay" tells them exactly what they get.
YouTube title kaise likhein?
The longer answer
A title has two jobs and they pull in different directions. It has to contain the words someone would type — so YouTube knows what the video is about — and it has to create enough curiosity that a person scrolling their homepage stops. Search words first, curiosity second, is the order that works: "Bahria Town plot file transfer — poora process" front-loads the searchable phrase and still leaves a reason to click.
Write the title with the thumbnail open next to you. If the thumbnail already shows a shocked face and the word "BANNED", the title should not also say banned — that is one idea spent twice. The pair should read as a sentence: thumbnail says the subject, title says the stake. We rewrite title-and-thumbnail pairs together on every audit, and it is the single change that moves click-through fastest on channels that already have decent content.
For Pakistani channels, decide consciously between English, Roman Urdu and Urdu script. Roman Urdu titles perform well for local audiences and get typed into the search bar exactly that way — "kharcha", "kitna", "kaise", "poora process". Urdu script looks good but a lot of people search in Roman. English works when the topic is technical or when part of your audience is overseas. Mixing is fine and normal; "Freelancing se pehla dollar — full guide" is how people actually talk.
Practical rules we apply: no ALL CAPS beyond one word, no number you cannot defend, put the year in only when the content genuinely dates, and never bury the topic behind your own name. Check the title at phone width before publishing — anything past roughly 60 characters is invisible to most viewers. Our PKR 5,000 audit includes rewritten titles and thumbnails for your last five videos, which is usually enough to show you the pattern.
