How do I pay for Google Ads from Pakistan?

When you create a Google Ads account you choose a country, a time zone and a billing currency, and the currency is hard to change later. Pick them deliberately. After that, the billing section shows which payment methods are available for your account; for most Pakistani advertisers that means a card, set up for automatic payments that Google charges as spend builds up or on a monthly cycle.

The common problem is not Google but the bank. Many Pakistani debit cards are switched off for international or online transactions by default, and some have low monthly limits for them. Before launching, call your bank or open its app, enable online and international use, check the limit, and run a small first charge to prove the card works. Keep a second card on file as a backup, because a declined payment pauses your ads, often on the busiest day of the month.

Keep the account and the card in the business's own name. Some agencies run clients through their own ad account and invoice the spend back with a markup; it looks convenient, but you lose the account history, the data and sometimes the ability to see what was actually spent. The cleaner arrangement is that you own the account, your card pays Google, and the agency is added as a user with access it can lose the day you part ways.

Your bank statement may show a slightly different figure from the Google Ads interface, because of exchange rates, bank charges and taxes applied by the bank or the state. Ask your bank about those; they are not something an agency controls.
