How quickly should I call back a lead from an ad?
As soon as you reasonably can, ideally while the person still remembers filling in the form. Same-day, during working hours, is the minimum for a business in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Set up instant alerts to WhatsApp, have a short script ready, and send a WhatsApp message first if a call is not answered.
Ad se aayi lead ko kitni jaldi call karna chahiye?
The longer answer
A lead from an ad is a moment of interest, not a commitment. The person tapped a form between other things on their phone, and they may have tapped a competitor's form too. The longer you wait, the more likely they have forgotten, lost interest or already spoken to someone else. We do not have a sourced figure to quote on how quickly interest fades, but every business that has compared fast and slow follow-up knows the direction.
Make speed automatic rather than heroic. Connect the lead form to a WhatsApp or email alert, or to a shared sheet that pings the person on duty. Decide in advance who calls which leads, and what happens outside office hours, on Fridays around Jummah, and during Ramadan when routines shift. A lead that arrives at 11 pm can get an automatic WhatsApp acknowledgement and a call at 10 am.
Many Pakistanis do not pick up calls from unknown numbers. So send a short WhatsApp message first or straight after a missed call: who you are, that they enquired about the specific thing, and a question that is easy to answer ('Aap ne braces ke baare mein poocha tha — kya aaj shaam 6 baje call kar sakte hain?'). Use the business number, with a recognisable display name and photo, so the message looks legitimate.
Keep the call short and useful. Confirm what they asked about, answer the obvious question, usually price or availability, and offer one clear next step such as a visit, a consultation slot or a call with the right person. Log the outcome the same day. Without that log, nobody can tell whether the ads are bringing poor leads or the follow-up is losing good ones.
