How does Google Business Profile video verification work?

Video has become the common verification route for businesses in Pakistan, and it fails more often for avoidable reasons than for real ones. The video should be a single unbroken recording, not clips stitched together, and it should be shot in daylight with steady hands. Google's reviewers are checking that what they see matches the address and name on the profile, so the opening shots matter: start outside, show the road sign or a well-known neighbour — a bank branch on Jinnah Avenue, the corner of a Commercial Market block — then walk to your door.

Next, show the business itself. Your permanent signboard must be visible and must match the name on the profile exactly, which is one reason keyword-stuffed names fail. Walk inside and film the counter, equipment, products or treatment room, whatever proves this is the business described. Finally, show management: unlock the shutter, open a staff-only cabinet, switch on the point-of-sale machine, hold up a business document with the name on it. Keep it moving and do not narrate personal information that does not need to be there.

Upload through the verification prompt on the profile, then wait; review can take days. If it is rejected, read the reason, fix the gap and record again rather than resubmitting the same file. Some situations cannot pass honestly: a home address shown as a shop, a desk in a shared office with no signage, or a business that does not yet have its board installed. In those cases the fix is to set the profile up as a service-area business with the address hidden, or to wait until the premises are ready.
