My Google Business Profile was suspended. What do I do now?

Google suspends profiles when it believes they break its guidelines, and the email rarely says exactly which rule. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi the usual triggers are predictable: extra keywords added to the business name, such as 'Best Dentist in F-10'; an address that is a virtual office, a co-working desk or a home shown as a storefront; several profiles for the same business; a sudden change of name, address and category together; or the same phone number used on unrelated profiles. Read your profile against Google's guidelines and correct anything that does not match reality before appealing.

Then prepare evidence. Google's appeal form asks for proof that the business operates at the listed address under the listed name. Useful items are photos of the permanent signboard with the street visible, the shopfront and interior, a utility bill or rent agreement in the business name, a trade licence or FBR registration, and a business card or letterhead with the same name and address. Make sure the name on the profile matches those documents exactly. Submit one appeal with everything attached, then wait for the reply rather than sending a new one every day.

While you wait, do not open a fresh profile for the same place. It looks like an attempt to dodge the suspension and can lead to both being removed. Keep taking enquiries through your website, WhatsApp and social pages, and let regular customers know the listing is temporarily down. If the appeal fails, read the reason carefully; sometimes the business genuinely does not qualify — for example, an online-only shop with no premises customers visit — and the right move is a service-area profile or no profile at all, rather than repeated attempts.
