Can I send marketing emails to my customers from my normal Gmail account?
You can, but you should not. A personal Gmail account caps how many recipients you can reach a day, has no unsubscribe handling, exposes addresses if you misuse CC, and risks your account being suspended. For newsletters or offers to customers in Pakistan, use an email platform sending from your own domain instead.
Kya main apne Gmail se customers ko bulk email bhej sakta hoon?
The longer answer
Gmail is built for person-to-person mail. Google publishes sending limits: a free Gmail account can send to around 500 recipients in a day, and a Google Workspace account to around 2,000, with lower limits on new and trial accounts. Hit them and Gmail blocks sending for up to a day, which is a poor moment to discover it if the account is also where your customers' orders arrive.
The bigger problems are legal hygiene and reputation. A marketing email needs a working unsubscribe, and Gmail has no list management, so people who ask to stop end up emailed again. Pasting addresses into To or CC shows every customer everyone else's email, which is a privacy failure that has embarrassed plenty of schools and clinics. And when recipients mark the mail as spam, the damage lands on the same account you rely on for everything else.
Mail merge add-ons that send personalised emails one by one from Gmail fix the CC problem but not the rest: the same daily limits apply, there is no proper unsubscribe header, and you are still sending marketing from a free address, which major mailbox providers now treat with suspicion.
The better setup is cheap and not hard. Get an address on your own domain, such as hello@yourbusiness.pk, connect the domain to an email marketing platform, publish the authentication records it asks for, and import only customers who agreed to hear from you. Keep your Gmail or Workspace inbox for replies and one-to-one conversations. For a handful of personal follow-ups to regular B2B clients in Blue Area, writing from Gmail directly is fine; it is the bulk sending that belongs elsewhere.
