Social media management for insurance agents and advisors in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Selling insurance in Pakistan means selling past a wall: most people believe it is a scam, or haram, or both. An agent who posts steadily becomes the one person a family already half-trusts on the day a claim is needed. First-year commission on a PKR 100,000 annual premium is enough that two extra policies a month change your year.

What makes social media hard for insurance agents and advisors?

These are the things we hear most from insurance agents and advisors in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Half your prospects genuinely believe insurance is haram and nobody has ever explained takaful to them properly.
  • 02Your company hands you branded posters identical to every other agent's, so nothing you post feels like you.
  • 03People remember the one uncle whose claim was rejected and none of the dozens that paid out.
  • 04Bancassurance staff reach the same customer first, standing at a bank counter with the bank's name behind them.
  • 05Motor and health more or less sell themselves; life needs six conversations and most agents quit after two.

What should a insurance agent business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Takaful, explained honestly

The single biggest objection in this country. Explain what actually differs between conventional insurance and family takaful, what the Shariah board does, and then let people decide for themselves.

  • Takaful versus conventional insurance: what changes inside the contract
  • Where the participants' fund money goes, walked through on paper
  • Insurance haram hai is the first thing I hear — here is what I say back

02

Claims, start to finish

Nothing sells like a claim that paid. With permission, walk through a real motor or health claim: the day it happened, the documents filed, and how long the money took to arrive.

  • A motor claim after an accident on the Expressway, day by day
  • Cashless hospital admission: what the card actually covers
  • Three reasons claims get rejected, and how to avoid all three

03

The number, on paper

Stop talking about peace of mind and start writing figures. Premium in, sum covered, what a family of four actually receives, and what the same money would have done in a savings account.

  • PKR 5,000 a month for twenty years — what your family receives if something happens
  • Health cover for a family of four: what PKR 40,000 a year buys in Islamabad
  • Comprehensive versus third-party on a used Cultus, with the numbers

04

Who I am

Agents are chosen personally, never corporately. Show your face, your office, how many years you have been doing this, and the clients who are happy to be named.

  • Why I left a bank job to sell insurance, and what I got wrong in year one
  • A day of client visits across G-11 and I-8
  • A client of eight years explains why he still calls me first

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

Annual premiums in the twin cities sit at PKR 60,000 to 300,000 for life cover and PKR 25,000 to 80,000 for family health, with first-year commission a serious share of it. Three extra policies a month covers a PKR 15,000 content spend several times over.

Who is already doing this well in Pakistan?

Accounts worth studying before you post anything. We are not affiliated with any of them — they are here because the approach is worth copying.

Facebook · around 2 million followers

EFU Life

A national insurer posting education and campaign content constantly. An individual agent should localise those same themes, never repost the company poster untouched.

Instagram · around 16k followers

Jubilee Life Insurance

Company pages speak in brand language. The gap they leave — a named human explaining one real claim — is exactly where an agent wins.

Facebook

State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan

The state insurer everybody's parents already know. Reference the name people trust, then explain plainly what your product does differently.

Where are insurance agents and advisors concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • Blue Area

Islamabad's central business district: a long strip of office towers along Jinnah Avenue, sitting between the F and G sectors. Banks, telecom head offices, law chambers, travel agents and consultancies are stacked floor on floor, with ground-floor cafés feeding the lunch rush. Almost nobody lives here, and by nine at night it is empty.

  • F-8

F-8 is where Islamabad goes for its legal work. The district courts sit in F-8 Markaz, so the plazas around them are wall to wall with lawyers' chambers, stamp vendors and typists. Ayub Market handles the daily shopping, and the residents are largely government officers and settled professional families.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

Rawalpindi

  • Satellite Town

Satellite Town was Rawalpindi's first planned suburb, laid out in lettered blocks in the 1960s, and it has aged into a doctors' quarter. Consultant clinics, dental surgeries and small labs work out of converted houses around Holy Family Hospital. Patients are local and they choose on reputation, not advertising.

  • Commercial Market

Commercial Market is Satellite Town's high street: two long rows of clothing outlets, shoe shops, cosmetics counters and food carts that fill up after Maghrib. It sells to families rather than wholesalers, so prices are fixed and the evening crowd decides everything. Parking is the standing complaint.

  • Bahria Town Phase 1–6

The first six phases of Bahria Town Rawalpindi are the settled ones — trees grown in, families moved in years ago. Civic Centre in Phase 4 is the commercial anchor, with a cinema, restaurants and clinics. Customers here check your Instagram before they visit, and they will pay for presentation.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • life insurance Pakistan best plan
  • takaful aur insurance mein farq
  • health insurance for family Islamabad price
  • car insurance Rawalpindi rates
  • insurance agent near me Islamabad
  • third party insurance kya hoti hai
  • life insurance policy Rawalpindi monthly premium

Which services move the numbers for insurance agents and advisors?

Insurance agents questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for insurance agents and advisors in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most insurance agents and advisors start on Starter at PKR 15,000. One agent, one platform, done properly. Starter keeps eight videos and eight graphics going out every month with your own face on them — enough to stop being invisible without needing a corporate budget. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should insurance agents and advisors focus on first?

Facebook. The 30-to-55 breadwinner deciding on family cover in Pakistan lives here, and a long text post with one honest photo still outperforms anything slicker. We would run it at 4 posts per week plus 1 live per month and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a insurance agent business?

takaful, explained honestly, claims, start to finish, the number, on paper — those three alone fill a month. The single biggest objection in this country. Explain what actually differs between conventional insurance and family takaful, what the Shariah board does, and then let people decide for themselves.

Do you work with insurance agents and advisors in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of insurance agents and advisors around Blue Area, F-8, I-8, Satellite Town. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a insurance agent account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
