Google tends to show videos for searches where watching is easier than reading: how to fix something, how to cook something, a product review, a walkthrough of a place or a process. If your topic is one of those, check by searching it on Google yourself. If a video carousel or video results already appear, there is room for yours. If the results are all articles, a video may struggle to show there, however good it is.

Google relies on what it can read. The title and the first lines of the description should state the topic plainly. Chapter timestamps with descriptive names give Google points it can link to directly as key moments.
