What does an Instagram marketing agency actually do every month?

The work divides into planning, production, publishing and reading the results. Planning means a short shoot list each week tied to what you sell that month — a new menu item, a wedding-season service, a restock. Production means turning your phone clips into Reels with captions people can read with the sound off, plus carousels for menus, price lists or how-it-works explainers. Publishing means posting on a rhythm and keeping stories alive on open days. None of this needs a studio; most of what we post for twin-city businesses is filmed by the owner or staff on a phone and sent over WhatsApp.

The less visible jobs matter as much. Someone should be checking that your name field and bio still match what people search, that highlights show current offers rather than last Eid's, and that the link in the bio still works. Anything that names an offer or a price should come back to you for approval before it goes out, because the agency does not know you changed the price of a facial last Tuesday.

At the end of the month you should see figures pulled from Instagram's own Insights: reach, profile visits, follows, and taps on your call, WhatsApp or link button, with a sentence on what will change next month. Reach alone is a vanity number; taps and messages are closer to money. Replying to comments and DMs is a separate daily job, and many agencies quietly leave it out, so ask whether it is included.
