Do agencies in Islamabad charge setup fees?
Many do — a one-time onboarding fee of PKR 10,000 to PKR 50,000 is common in Islamabad, usually charged on top of the first month. We do not charge one. If an agency wants a setup fee, ask exactly what it pays for and what happens to it if you leave after month one.

A setup fee is fair when it pays for real one-off work that survives you leaving. Building a website, designing a logo and brand kit, creating a Business Manager and installing the pixel properly, getting a Google Business Profile through video verification, producing a first batch of photography — all of these take days and none of them repeat next month. Ask for the fee to be itemised. If the answer is onboarding and strategy with no deliverable attached, you are being charged for the sales meeting you already sat through.
The fee is not the only thing to check before you sign. Ask whether ad spend is marked up, because some agencies in the twin cities quietly keep fifteen to twenty percent of your budget and you would never see it in Ads Manager. Ask the minimum term and the notice period — a six-month lock-in with two months' notice is nine months of commitment dressed as a monthly plan. Ask what extra revisions cost. And ask, plainly, whether you get your files, your account access and your Business Manager back on the day you leave.

Ad spend goes straight to Meta or Google from your own card and we never take a cut. The PKR 5,000 audit fee is credited against your first month if you start a package. Files and accounts are yours throughout, because we work through delegated access and never ask for your password. Get whatever any agency tells you in writing on WhatsApp before you pay — a message with a date on it is a record, and a phone call is not.
