Social media management for wedding planners in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Wedding season in the twin cities runs October to March and then again after Eid, and almost nothing happens during Ramadan. A full-service Islamabad wedding — mayun, mehndi, barat, walima — plans from PKR 1,500,000 upwards, and the person choosing you is usually the bride's mother, scrolling Instagram at midnight.

What makes social media hard for wedding planners?

These are the things we hear most from wedding planners in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01You are managing a family, not a client — the bride wants one thing, her mother wants another, and the phupho expects to be consulted.
  • 02Hall timings and menu restrictions limit what you can promise, and the family blames you when the venue shuts at ten.
  • 03Every family wants the setup they saw in a Reel from Lahore, at half the Islamabad price.
  • 04Payment arrives in cash, late, and often after the walima when your vendors have already been paid in full.
  • 05Every client is a once-in-a-lifetime client, so you are permanently marketing to complete strangers.

What should a wedding planner business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

One wedding, told properly

Follow a single wedding across all four functions with the family's permission: the palette, how each setup changed, what the couple asked for. Depth beats a feed of unconnected pretty pictures.

  • Mayun to walima: one Islamabad wedding across four setups
  • The couple's brief, and what we actually built from it
  • Setting up a mehndi at a Bahria farmhouse — the day before

02

Budget honesty

Families have no idea what anything costs until they are three vendors deep. Publish real Islamabad ranges for décor, floral, lighting and stage, and say plainly what moves the price.

  • What PKR 600,000 of wedding décor looks like next to PKR 2,000,000
  • Fresh flowers versus artificial: cost, look, and how each photographs
  • Why a farmhouse ends up costing more than a marquee once generators are added

03

Dates and the season

Planning content tied to the real twin-city calendar: when to book a hall for December, what the Ramadan gap does to dates, and how far ahead the good vendors are already gone.

  • Booking a December date? Here is when you should have started
  • Nikah in Ramadan, walima after Eid — how families are splitting functions now
  • Twelve months out: what to lock in first and what can wait

04

Vendor coordination

Show the part a family cannot do themselves: the timeline, the vendor calls, and the ninety minutes where the caterer and the décor team have to swap over between functions.

  • Our wedding-day timeline, hour by hour, laid out on paper
  • Three vendors, one hall, ninety minutes to change everything over
  • What a planner does that a very helpful cousin genuinely cannot

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

Décor and planning for an Islamabad wedding runs from PKR 400,000 for a single function to PKR 3,000,000 and beyond for full service, with planning fees around ten to fifteen percent. Two extra weddings a season more than covers a PKR 70,000 monthly retainer.

Where are wedding planners concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • F-6

One of the oldest and richest sectors, lived in by senior civil servants, politicians and old Islamabad families. Two very different markets serve it: Super Market in the Markaz for books, banks, tailors and pharmacies, and Kohsar Market in F-6/3, where the city's expensive cafés and bakeries have clustered for years.

  • F-7

F-7 Markaz — everybody calls it Jinnah Super — is the market every person in Islamabad has shopped in at least once. Saeed Book Bank, bridal boutiques, salons, phone shops and a thick ring of restaurants. Behind it the sector is quiet, leafy and costly, full of embassy staff and business families.

  • F-10

A settled upper-middle-class sector on the western side, popular with doctors, serving officers and retired families. F-10 Markaz carries clinics, dental surgeries, labs, bakeries and bank branches rather than nightlife, and the sub-sector strips fill up after school hours with tuition centres and salons. Fatima Jinnah Park is on its doorstep.

  • E-11

E-11 grew out of separate cooperative societies, which is why its streets do not line up like the rest of Islamabad. It is the city's flat belt: young couples, students and bachelors renting apartments, with a mini market in every sub-sector and a crowded Markaz of eateries, hostels and property offices.

  • DHA Islamabad

DHA Islamabad runs along the GT Road and the Expressway on the city's southern edge, with Phase II carrying most of the built-up life. Giga Mall pulls shoppers from both cities, and the blocks around it hold showrooms, restaurants, gyms and private schools. Residents skew towards serving and retired officers.

Rawalpindi

  • Bahria Town Phase 1–6

The first six phases of Bahria Town Rawalpindi are the settled ones — trees grown in, families moved in years ago. Civic Centre in Phase 4 is the commercial anchor, with a cinema, restaurants and clinics. Customers here check your Instagram before they visit, and they will pay for presentation.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • wedding planner in Islamabad
  • shadi ka decor cost Islamabad
  • best wedding planner Rawalpindi price
  • mehndi decoration Islamabad packages
  • wedding planner near me DHA Islamabad
  • farmhouse wedding Bahria Enclave rates

Which services move the numbers for wedding planners?

Wedding planners questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for wedding planners in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most wedding planners start on Pro at PKR 70,000+. Season is four months of nonstop shooting across two platforms plus wedding films. Pro handles the volume, the calendar planned a month ahead, and ads pointed at brides who are already searching. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should wedding planners focus on first?

Instagram. Brides save wedding Reels for a year before booking anyone, and saves rather than likes are what fills your December calendar. We would run it at 5 reels plus daily stories in season, 3 per week off-season and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a wedding planner business?

one wedding, told properly, budget honesty, dates and the season — those three alone fill a month. Follow a single wedding across all four functions with the family's permission: the palette, how each setup changed, what the couple asked for. Depth beats a feed of unconnected pretty pictures.

Do you work with wedding planners in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of wedding planners around F-6, F-7, F-10, E-11. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a wedding planner account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
