Social media management for tax consultancies in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Tax content in Pakistan has one hard season and it prints money. From July to the September filing deadline, return kaise file karain is searched constantly, and a consultant charging PKR 3,000 to 15,000 per salaried return can book three months of work off one good video series. The rest of the year builds the library.

What makes social media hard for tax consultancies?

These are the things we hear most from tax consultancies in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Everyone wants the return filed on 29 September and nobody wants to speak to you in March.
  • 02IRIS changes its screens without warning and last year's tutorial video is suddenly wrong.
  • 03Clients believe PKR 2,000 should cover a return, a notice reply and unlimited phone calls.
  • 04You spend half of August chasing salary certificates and bank statements from people who booked you in July.
  • 05Free advice in the comments is what people actually came for; turning a comment into a paid filing is the hard part.

What should a tax consultant business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

Filing season, week by week

From July to September, one post per stage: documents to gather, IRIS registration, salaried versus business return, and what the final week actually looks like in practice.

  • Six documents to keep ready before you open IRIS
  • Salaried return in twelve minutes — full screen recording
  • Deadline extended or not: what to do in the final 48 hours

02

Notices, decoded

An FBR notice frightens people into paying somebody. Take the common ones — 114(4), 176, audit selection — and explain in Urdu what it is, the deadline, and the cost of ignoring it.

  • 114(4) notice aa gaya: what it means and how many days you have
  • You have been selected for audit — three things not to do
  • A withholding notice on your shop: what the tax office is actually asking for

03

Filer versus non-filer, in rupees

Nobody is moved by civic duty; they are moved by the extra tax on a car transfer or a plot purchase. Put the two columns side by side with the current rates.

  • Buying a 1000cc car: what a filer pays versus a non-filer
  • Property transfer in Islamabad — the filer difference on a one crore plot
  • Bank withdrawal, prize bond, mobile bill: where non-filer status quietly costs you

04

Freelancers and foreign income

Twin-city freelancers and IT exporters have specific questions nobody answers well: PSEB registration, export remittance certificates, and whether money landing from Payoneer is taxable.

  • Freelancer income and the reduced tax rate — how to actually claim it
  • Do you need PSEB registration? The honest answer
  • Non-resident Pakistani: when you still have to file in Pakistan

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

A salaried return goes for PKR 3,000 to 8,000, a business return PKR 10,000 to 40,000, and notice work or audit representation from PKR 25,000 upwards. Two hundred season filings at PKR 5,000 is PKR 1,000,000 — the content spend is small against that.

Our recommendation for this trade

Where are tax consultancies concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • Blue Area

Islamabad's central business district: a long strip of office towers along Jinnah Avenue, sitting between the F and G sectors. Banks, telecom head offices, law chambers, travel agents and consultancies are stacked floor on floor, with ground-floor cafés feeding the lunch rush. Almost nobody lives here, and by nine at night it is empty.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

  • G-9

G-9 Markaz is Karachi Company, the market ordinary Islamabad actually shops in. Wedding-season cloth, shoes, luggage, mobile repair, cheap electronics and a hundred tailors, spread over blocks that stay busy until late. The residential side is older middle-class housing and government flats, so footfall never depends on visitors.

Rawalpindi

  • Satellite Town

Satellite Town was Rawalpindi's first planned suburb, laid out in lettered blocks in the 1960s, and it has aged into a doctors' quarter. Consultant clinics, dental surgeries and small labs work out of converted houses around Holy Family Hospital. Patients are local and they choose on reputation, not advertising.

  • Commercial Market

Commercial Market is Satellite Town's high street: two long rows of clothing outlets, shoe shops, cosmetics counters and food carts that fill up after Maghrib. It sells to families rather than wholesalers, so prices are fixed and the evening crowd decides everything. Parking is the standing complaint.

  • Saddar

Saddar is the Cantt side of Pindi's old shopping heart. Bank Road and Kashmir Road are lined with tailors, shoe shops, opticians and watch repairers who have held the same shutter for forty years. Trade runs on walk-ins from the railway station and the Cantt offices, and almost none of it is online.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • tax consultant in Islamabad fees
  • FBR filer kaise banain
  • NTN registration Rawalpindi

Which services move the numbers for tax consultancies?

Tax consultants questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for tax consultancies in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most tax consultancies start on Growth at PKR 35,000. Filing season needs volume: four long IRIS walkthroughs a month plus twelve Shorts, thumbnails, and somebody answering the September comment flood. Growth is built for exactly that spike. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should tax consultancies focus on first?

YouTube. Income tax return kaise file karain is a search, not a scroll, and a screen recording of IRIS is the only format that genuinely answers it. We would run it at 2 long-form videos per week in july–september, 2 per month otherwise and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a tax consultant business?

filing season, week by week, notices, decoded, filer versus non-filer, in rupees — those three alone fill a month. From July to September, one post per stage: documents to gather, IRIS registration, salaried versus business return, and what the final week actually looks like in practice.

Do you work with tax consultancies in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of tax consultancies around Blue Area, I-8, G-9, Satellite Town. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a tax consultant account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
