Social media management for mobile phone shops in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

Every mobile customer in Saddar asks the same two things: PTA approved hai, and kitne ka hai. Prices move with the dollar most weeks, so a price post ages in days. The shops winning on TikTok film the weekly rate list, the IMEI check on camera, and the exchange deal on a PKR 60,000 phone.

What makes social media hard for mobile phone shops?

These are the things we hear most from mobile phone shops in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01PTA approved or not is the first question of every conversation, and getting it wrong once ends your reputation in the plaza.
  • 02The dollar moves and so do your prices, so the price list you posted three weeks ago is now bringing in arguments instead of orders.
  • 03Used-phone buyers want battery health, panel condition and the IMEI verified before they will travel to Saddar for a PKR 45,000 handset.
  • 04Repairs and sales fight over the same counter — a screen replacement takes an hour while three walk-in buyers leave.
  • 05People come in to hold the phone, then order it online for PKR 2,000 less while standing in your shop.

What should a mobile phone shop business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

PTA and paperwork in plain words

Tax status is the biggest confusion in the trade. Show how to check an IMEI, what approval costs on a given model, and what non-PTA actually means after a few months.

  • IMEI checked live on the phone, result shown on screen
  • What PTA tax adds to this model right now
  • Non-PTA phone after 60 days: what actually happens to the SIM

02

Used phone condition report

Second-hand is where the margin is, and the fear is condition. Do a fixed report on every used unit — battery health, panel, camera, box, warranty left — in the same format every time.

  • Battery health screenshot plus dead-pixel test on a used flagship
  • Same-model comparison: our A-grade unit versus a B-grade one
  • Seven-day checking warranty explained on camera

03

This week's rates

A weekly price list is the most watched thing a mobile shop can post. Same day, same format, prices on screen, so people wait for it and screenshot it.

  • Friday rate list: twelve models, price on screen, 60 seconds
  • What went up and what came down since last week
  • Best phone under PKR 40,000 this week, three options

04

Repairs, filmed

Screen changes, charging ports and water damage are daily work and they film beautifully. They also bring in the customer who did not know a phone could be saved.

  • Cracked screen replaced start to finish in 90 seconds
  • Water-damaged phone opened up — what we find inside
  • Charging port cleaned: why your phone stopped charging fast

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

A mid-range handset sells at PKR 45,000 to 90,000 with maybe PKR 1,500 to 3,000 of margin. Used phones, exchange deals, repairs and accessories carry the shop — a PKR 900 tempered glass earns more than an PKR 80,000 handset does.

Our recommendation for this trade

Starter — PKR 15,000 per month

The rate list and repair clips only work if they go out every single day on one platform. Starter covers eight edited videos a month plus daily posting on TikTok, which is where your buyers already are.

  • 8 Shorts, Reels or TikToks edited
  • 8 thumbnails or graphics
  • Daily posting and scheduling on 1 platform
  • Basic SEO: titles, descriptions, hashtags

Who is already doing this well in Pakistan?

Accounts worth studying before you post anything. We are not affiliated with any of them — they are here because the approach is worth copying.

Instagram

PriceOye

Price is the whole message, repeated daily in the same format. People follow for the number, not the brand.

Facebook

WhatMobile

They own the phrase people search — mobile prices in Pakistan — by updating relentlessly. A shop can own the same phrase for its own city.

YouTube

PhoneWorld

Unboxings and comparisons in Urdu, not English. Speaking the buyer's language doubles who can actually follow the video.

Where are mobile phone shops concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • G-9

G-9 Markaz is Karachi Company, the market ordinary Islamabad actually shops in. Wedding-season cloth, shoes, luggage, mobile repair, cheap electronics and a hundred tailors, spread over blocks that stay busy until late. The residential side is older middle-class housing and government flats, so footfall never depends on visitors.

  • Blue Area

Islamabad's central business district: a long strip of office towers along Jinnah Avenue, sitting between the F and G sectors. Banks, telecom head offices, law chambers, travel agents and consultancies are stacked floor on floor, with ground-floor cafés feeding the lunch rush. Almost nobody lives here, and by nine at night it is empty.

  • F-10

A settled upper-middle-class sector on the western side, popular with doctors, serving officers and retired families. F-10 Markaz carries clinics, dental surgeries, labs, bakeries and bank branches rather than nightlife, and the sub-sector strips fill up after school hours with tuition centres and salons. Fatima Jinnah Park is on its doorstep.

Rawalpindi

  • Saddar

Saddar is the Cantt side of Pindi's old shopping heart. Bank Road and Kashmir Road are lined with tailors, shoe shops, opticians and watch repairers who have held the same shutter for forty years. Trade runs on walk-ins from the railway station and the Cantt offices, and almost none of it is online.

  • Raja Bazaar

Raja Bazaar is the old city's wholesale engine — narrow lanes off Fowara Chowk where cloth, gold and crockery move by the carton, not the piece. Moti Bazaar dresses a large share of the twin cities' brides. Business peaks in the ten days before Eid and goes flat through the monsoon.

  • Commercial Market

Commercial Market is Satellite Town's high street: two long rows of clothing outlets, shoe shops, cosmetics counters and food carts that fill up after Maghrib. It sells to families rather than wholesalers, so prices are fixed and the evening crowd decides everything. Parking is the standing complaint.

These are the phrases people in this trade actually type. If your page does not answer them, someone else's does.

  • mobile shop in Saddar Rawalpindi
  • used phone price Islamabad PTA approved
  • mobile phone qist par Rawalpindi
  • phone screen repair Islamabad cost
  • PTA approved kaise check karein
  • sasta phone kahan se lein Rawalpindi
  • mobile shop TikTok page kaise chalayen

Which services move the numbers for mobile phone shops?

Mobile phone shops questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for mobile phone shops in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most mobile phone shops start on Starter at PKR 15,000. The rate list and repair clips only work if they go out every single day on one platform. Starter covers eight edited videos a month plus daily posting on TikTok, which is where your buyers already are. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should mobile phone shops focus on first?

TikTok. Rate lists, repair clips and used-phone reports are what the Pakistani phone-buying audience actually watches before choosing a shop. We would run it at 1 video daily, including the weekly rate list and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a mobile phone shop business?

pta and paperwork in plain words, used phone condition report, this week's rates — those three alone fill a month. Tax status is the biggest confusion in the trade. Show how to check an IMEI, what approval costs on a given model, and what non-PTA actually means after a few months.

Do you work with mobile phone shops in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of mobile phone shops around Saddar, Raja Bazaar, Commercial Market, G-9. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a mobile phone shop account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
