Social media management for education channels in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

An education channel in Islamabad or Rawalpindi is usually a teacher from a G-9 academy filming the same lesson he already gives twice a day. Matric physics, FSc chemistry, CSS essay, spoken English. Views spike from March to June. AdSense is small, but the channel fills the academy, and one enrolled student is worth PKR 4,000 a month.

What makes social media hard for education channels?

These are the things we hear most from education channels in the twin cities. If two or three of them sound like your week, everything below is aimed straight at them.

  • 01Your whole year happens in three months. March to June is chaos and by August the numbers have fallen off a cliff.
  • 02A whiteboard filmed on a phone under a tube light is unreadable at 480p, which is exactly what most students are watching on.
  • 03Students watch the entire free lesson and never enrol, because nowhere in the video did you actually ask them to.
  • 04The board changes the syllabus and every video you made for that chapter is quietly wrong, with no way to flag it.
  • 05A rival academy downloads your lecture, slaps its own logo on it, and runs it as a paid Facebook ad.

What should a education channel business post?

4 themes you can return to forever, so you are never staring at the camera wondering what to say. We build your month out of these.

01

The chapter nobody understands

Every board subject has three or four topics where the whole class loses the thread. Own those. Title them by chapter and exercise number so a student searching at 11pm the night before the paper lands on you.

  • Federal Board physics chapter 5, the numerical everybody gets wrong
  • Organic chemistry naming, taught properly in one whiteboard sitting
  • Matric maths: the quadratic exercise, every question solved in order

02

Past papers, solved live

Students trust past papers more than any explanation. Solve a real paper end to end on camera, in the real exam time, and mark it honestly. This is what gets shared inside class WhatsApp groups.

  • Solving last year's Federal Board physics paper in the actual two hours
  • Five questions that repeat in nearly every Punjab Board chemistry paper
  • How an examiner really marks a long question, shown on a real script

03

Exam-season survival

March to June is the season and the questions are always the same. Revision order, what to skip with four days left, how to handle the paper itself. Post it two weeks before students think they need it.

  • Four days to the paper: what to revise and what to leave alone
  • A realistic 30-day plan for FSc part two, week by week
  • What to do in the first five minutes after you get the question paper

04

The teacher, not the syllabus

Parents and students choose a person, not a curriculum. Clips of you teaching in the real class, a student's result in her own words, a question answered on WhatsApp — this is what turns viewers into admissions.

  • A question a student sent me, answered on camera in two minutes
  • A student who went from failing to an A, telling it herself
  • Two uncut minutes from a live class, phones and noise included

Which platforms are worth it for education channels?

Ranked for this trade specifically, with how often we would post on each.

Platform priority for education channels
PlatformPriorityHow oftenWhy it works for this trade
YouTube#13 lessons a week, 10 to 25 minutes, plus 3 ShortsStudents search by chapter and by past paper year, and a well-titled lesson keeps bringing enrolments every exam season for years.
TikTok#25 clips a weekOne trick, one formula, thirty seconds — this is where a teacher gets found by students who were not looking for a teacher at all.
Facebook#34 posts a week plus daily group activityParents pay the fee and they are on Facebook, and Rawalpindi student and board groups share lesson links all through exam season.
WhatsApp Channels#41 message a day through exam seasonClass reminders, date sheets and a daily practice question reach every student directly without competing against an algorithm.

What is a customer worth, and what should you spend?

Admission is the product, not the video. A tuition seat is PKR 3,000 to 8,000 a month and a CSS course far more, so ten enrolments from the channel beat a year of AdSense. Filming costs are a phone, a tripod and a decent lapel mic, under PKR 6,000 all together.

Who is already doing this well in Pakistan?

Accounts worth studying before you post anything. We are not affiliated with any of them — they are here because the approach is worth copying.

YouTube · over a million subscribers

Sabaq Foundation

Every video is mapped to a class, subject and chapter. That structure is the reason a student can find the exact lesson they need in one search.

YouTube · millions of subscribers

ilmkidunya

They built the audience around past papers, date sheets and results — the things students already search — and taught around them.

YouTube · a large Pakistani online learning platform

Nearpeer

They give away lecture clips from the same teachers whose courses they sell. Give the lesson away and charge for the structure and the person.

Where are education channels concentrated in the twin cities?

We work across all of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but these are the areas where this trade clusters — useful if you are working out where your customers come from.

Islamabad

  • G-9

G-9 Markaz is Karachi Company, the market ordinary Islamabad actually shops in. Wedding-season cloth, shoes, luggage, mobile repair, cheap electronics and a hundred tailors, spread over blocks that stay busy until late. The residential side is older middle-class housing and government flats, so footfall never depends on visitors.

  • G-11

G-11 Markaz is one of the liveliest markets on the western side — cheap food, bakeries, mobile shops, banks, and enough student and hostel traffic to keep it open late. The sub-sectors mix owner-occupied houses with rented portions, so customers run from retired officers to people in their first job.

  • I-8

I-8 is the best-planned of the I sectors and the one with real office money in it. The Markaz holds banks, private hospitals, coaching academies and corporate branch offices, and the residential blocks are settled professional families. Sitting beside Faizabad and the Expressway, it pulls customers in from Rawalpindi too.

Rawalpindi

  • Satellite Town

Satellite Town was Rawalpindi's first planned suburb, laid out in lettered blocks in the 1960s, and it has aged into a doctors' quarter. Consultant clinics, dental surgeries and small labs work out of converted houses around Holy Family Hospital. Patients are local and they choose on reputation, not advertising.

  • 6th Road

6th Road is a Metro Bus stop that turned into a market. The plazas along Murree Road hold mobile accessory shops at street level, coaching academies and skin and dental clinics on the upper floors, and a run of late-night food. The footfall is commuters, so being visible from the road is everything.

  • Chandni Chowk

Chandni Chowk is where Murree Road meets Satellite Town, under the elevated Metro track. It is a plaza junction: phone shops, bank branches, opticians and small offices stacked four floors up, with wedding-card printers on the side streets. The traffic never stops, which is exactly why the rents are high.

Education channels questions we get every week

How much does social media management cost for education channels in Islamabad?

Packages run from PKR 15,000 to PKR 70,000 a month, and most education channels start on Growth at PKR 35,000. Exam season demands three lessons a week, edited, titled by chapter and cut down for Shorts. Growth covers four long lessons, twelve clips and full channel SEO, which is what makes a lesson findable the night before the paper. A one-time audit of your existing page is PKR 5,000, credited if you go monthly.

Which platform should education channels focus on first?

YouTube. Students search by chapter and by past paper year, and a well-titled lesson keeps bringing enrolments every exam season for years. We would run it at 3 lessons a week, 10 to 25 minutes, plus 3 shorts and add nothing else until that is steady.

What would you actually post for a education channel business?

the chapter nobody understands, past papers, solved live, exam-season survival — those three alone fill a month. Every board subject has three or four topics where the whole class loses the thread. Own those. Title them by chapter and exercise number so a student searching at 11pm the night before the paper lands on you.

Do you work with education channels in Rawalpindi as well as Islamabad?

Yes, we treat the twin cities as one service area. We see a lot of education channels around G-9, G-11, I-8, Satellite Town. Most of the work runs over WhatsApp and Drive, and we come to you for the first meeting or a shoot.

How long before a education channel account starts bringing in customers?

You will see the output in week one and the numbers in month one. For a local trade like this, enquiries usually start moving in the second or third month, once there is enough posted for someone to trust that you are still open and still good.
